BEEP BEEP BEEP! I woke up to the most annoying sound known to man. The alarm clock. "Urg!" I moan to myself before smacking the alarm, thus making it shut up.
I looked over to see the time. 7:34am. SHIT! I was going to be late.
I hopped out of bed like the rabbit from Alice in wonderland and ran into the bathroom to do my business. With the towel round my waist, i frantically searched for a decent outfit. Pulling out some black denim shorts, a white crop top and some vans, i slipped them on. Now for my daily chore. Grabbing the hairbrush, i brush my birds nest of a hair before tying it in a messy bun then applying a thin cost of mascara and lip gloss.
7:54. Wow record time i thought to myself before sprinting down the stairs and onto the street. School starts in 16 minutes and i cant be late. I walked as fast as my little legs would carry me through the park. I always take this route even if I'm running late. How can you turn down the opportunity to see wildlife and nature so bright and early in the morning. I just loved it.

The first half of the day went pretty quickly and before i knew it, it was lunch. My stomach roared like a lion, loudly enough that it could be heard by the people next to me. Receiving dirty looks, i carried on walking to the canteen glad to see my best friends. Now I wouldn't consider myself popular but i do have quite a lot of friends. But they are all true to me, but don't get me wrong, we do have our arguments and fights but i love them to pieces.
My closest friends being Cameron and Jess. Both twins aged 17
Then theres Amir, 17
Callum, 17
Haley, 17
Mark, 16
And the youngest Hollie, 16.
Were all in eleventh grade together. With me also being 16, in the second youngest of our squad.
"So Lily, i saw you speed walking through the park earlier, late again?" Teased Mark.
"Yeah, i must have hit snooze more then i thought" i replied.
"No surprise there then" Amir said making the rest of the group laugh.
Pulling my lunch out of my bag, i began to devour it. What? Cant a girl eat?
My friends are used to my eating habit so i don't get any strange looks unlike earlier.

The school bell ricochet around the building. Finally! I thought to myself. Grabbing my bag and jacket I scurried out of 7th period before making my way to the front gates. Not having a car or licence, means i have to walk home. I guess i could always ask the other for a lift but its not that far. And like i said earlier, i love walking through the park. Taking my phone out my pocket i began to text the group chat.
Lily: can we all go get ice cream later? 😽
Callum: best idea you've ever had 😂
Cameron: sorry, going out with dad 🙄
Jess: same 🙄🙄
Hayley: seems as your begging, ill come ☺️
Lily: Mark, amir, hollie? You down? 🤗
Mark: sure, see you later 🙃
Amir: Sure thing chicken wing 🍗
Cameron: i think you have problems 🤔
Mark: we all do 😂
Hollie: what time?

Before i could message a reply, my body collided with something that felt like a brick wall. Falling down onto my ass, i dropped my phone on the floor before hearing a crack sound. I looked up to see what the heck I collided with but instead of a wall i was met with the most enticing and mesmerising green eyes i have ever seen. There in front of me, piled on the floor, sat the most handsomest boy i have ever seen. He looked to be around my age yet he had a dark and mysterious atmosphere to him.
Before i could apologise he snapped at me. "Watch where you're going, you twat"
"Well you clearly weren't watching where you were going either otherwise you would have noticed me!" I yelled back.
"Not my problem! I was on my phone"
"Newsflash, so was i" I screamed at him.

He stared at me with those mesmerising eyes before bending down and picking up the iPhone lying on the ground. Copying him, i did the same.
With another glare, he walked off in the direction he was walking in, so I continued my way home, just now much more angrier and confused.
