Introducing Parker

BEEP BEEP BEEP! Stupid alarm, I thought to myself. I picked it up and threw it at the wall, making the beeping sound stop. I lay in bed for another couple of minutes before carrying my dead weight of a body into the bathroom. Taking a quick shower and getting dressed into some black jeans, white t shirt and some vans, i hurried down the stairs to make some breakfast. The house was awfully silent, my brother was probably at some random chicks house again, leaving me stuck on my own for the day. I checked the time on my phone to see it was 7:54am. Which meant of course, i was going to be late AGAIN.

I began my 15 minute walk to school, already knowing i was late, I decided to take a leisurely stroll through the park. Looking around i spotted a relatively small girl around my age frantically walking like her life depended on it. I watched her as she was quite amusing. Her legs were way too short to be walking this quick. I continued to watch her until she walked through the park gates towards the school just down the road from mine. I know that school started 5 minutes after mine which means i was definitely late.
Walking through my own school gates, i began making my way to first period.

Before i knew it, the lunch bell rang so i made my way to the canteen. Not having any friends in this god forsaken school, i sat down on my own and looked around. I liked to look around and watch all the "cliques". It was a typical high school, with the geeks, musicians, populars, jocks and the "others". But then theres me. If this was a book, i would be the dark and mysterious boy in the corner alone. Which is basically what i am. Maybe someone should write a book about me.

The last 2 periods went quickly then i heard the home bell ringing. Thank god! I thought to myself. I walked to the side entrance and decided to walk the park way home. PING! i heard my phone so i took it out of my pocket to see a text from my friend Amir.
Amir: cant come round later. Going to get ice cream with my friends. 😶
Parker: don't worry about it bro, we can rearrange 😂
Amir: you could come you know, meet my friends. 🙃
Parker: seriously 😒 i think we both know that i am the least likely person to even make friends. Besides, aren't they all overly happy and preppy people 🤔
Amir: I'm sure if you met them, you would like them 😂☺️

Before i could reply, I crashed into a small body and fell to the floor, dropping my phone at the same time.
This could not be happening!
I looked up from the floor to see a pair of ocean like blue eyes staring back at my own. She looked familiar.
Oh thats right, she was the girl walking quickly in the park this morning. I was going to apologise but then I realised she could have smashed my phone!
"Watch where you're going you twat!" I yelled at her.
"Well clearly you weren't watching where you were going either otherwise you would have noticed me!" She yelled back.
Feisty and confident, not something you see a lot of these days. 
"Not my problem i was on my phone!"
"Newsflash, so was i!" She screamed at me.
I bent down to pick up my phone and began walking off but not before i sent her another glare.
