Persephone POV

Well, let's just say things got a bit awkward when my aunt left the room. All the boys turned towards me, like they expected me to say something.

"Uhm, hi?" I waved shyly, unsure what to say.

Yeah, good job Persephone. You're going to make this even more uncomfortable.

"Uhm, love?" The adorable one, I think his name is Louis, said as I was mentally scolding myself.

"Huh?" I looked back up at him.

"What type of witch are you?"

"Oh, we won't find out until my 18th birthday. But at the moment, I'm showing signs of being a water witch. I'm 17 now, so we'll find out what I am soon enough." I say, with a big smile on my face. "What are you guys?"

"Vampire." Zayn said, bluntly.

"Sorcerer." Harry said, his voice raspy. He looked me in the eyes and I was mesmerized. His eyes are really green. Snap out of it Persephone.

I look at Louis and he says, "I'm a fairy."

I stared at him, trying to figure out if he was being serious or not. "Uhm, okay."

"I'm just messing with you, love. I'm actually a hybrid of a werewolf and vampire."

I shake my head with an amused smile and he grins. I look at Niall and he says quietly, "I'm a werewolf."

I turned to look at Liam, and he seemed deep in thought. "Liam?" I said, tenatively. "Uh, Liam? Liam? What are you?"

He shakes his head, as if clearing his thoughts. "Sorry. Like Niall, I'm a werewolf." We sort of just stare at each other, sharing some sort of moment.

"Persephone! Come here, please!" Aunt Talia calls from the kitchen, ruining our moment.

"Coming!" I shout back, nearly as loud.

Entering the kitchen, I see my aunt holding the phone out to me. "It's Nina." She mouths. I quickly grab the phone and hold it up to my ear. The minute I say hello, there's a scream in my ear.

"Persephone! It's been forever!" Nina yells.

"We saw each other yesterday. It's only Saturday." I reply, rolling my eyes at my best friend.

"Yeah, so? Wanna go to the mall with me and Danny?"

"I don't know, we have guests over."

"Then me and Danny can just come over."

"You can't."

"Why can't we ever come over?"

"It's complicated, I'm sorry. I love you, bye." I hang up the phone before she can answer.

Liam POV

Persephone was asking us what we were. Louis said he was a fairy, and I wanted to laugh, but I didn't.

She looked at Niall after Louis, and I couldn't seem to tear my eyes away from her. Gosh, she's so beautiful. Her blue eyes are bright and her dip-dyed hair falls perfectly over her shoulders and down her back.

Woah, woah, Liam. Back up. No, no, no! You can NOT  get feeling for this girl. It won't end well.

"Liam? What are you?" Persephone drags me out of my thoughts.

"Oh, sorry. Like Niall, I'm a werewolf." I told her, looking into her eyes.

She stares at me, and nods slightly. We are staring into each other's eyes until Talia calls from the kitchen. When Persephone leaves the room, the boys whisper to each other.

"She's perfect." Harry sighs and says quietly.

"Beautiful." I answer him.

"I want to ask her on a date, but we just met. Would that be too sudden?" Harry asks.

Before any of us can reply, Persephone walks into the room, and we're all silent.

Persephone POV

I feel guilty about leaving Nina hanging like that. But it's tough when you live in the Forest of The Unknown. I walk into the living room after putting the phone back, and I hear the boys whispering. But as soon as I walk in, they drop dead silent. Like, you could hear a pin drop silent. "Why are you so suddenly silent, were you talking about me?" I joke to break the silence.

"What, no." Harry grins. "Why would we talk about you? You're only gorgeous."

I blush and that just makes his smile grow larger. "Only?" I ask, despite being embarrassed.

"Only." Harry winks and Liam clears his throat. Liam sends a not-so-subtle glare to Harry. All the boys are really quiet, which seems weird.

I really don't understand how all of them are so attractive, especially Harry. His perfect curly quiff and stunningly green eyes make him stand out from the others. I get the urge to grab his hand and despite being a virgin, take him up to my room so he can ravage my vagina. Not that you wanted to know that.

Liam is pretty attractive too, in a good-boy sort of way. Harry and Liam are definitely the hottest. Uber hot. But I don't feel the need to let Liam in my vagina. Close though. I realize I'm staring at the blank screen of my cellphone. I look up to see everyone except Harry is passed out. I go to our linen closet and grab 5 blankets. I cover each of the sleeping boys, then hand Harry the last blanket.

"Thanks." He whispers.

"No problem." I reply. "I bet you're pretty tired too."

"I am pretty beat. But I don't want to sleep yet. Can we like talk outside or something?" Harry looks up at me.

"Sure." I answer, nodding. Harry follows me out the back door into the garden. We're walking through Aunt Talia's rows and rows of vegetables and herbs when Harry decides to lace his fingers through mine. I look down at our hands, then stare at my feet like before.

"So, tell me all about yourself." Harry says as we stop and look up at the passing clouds.

"Welp, uhm, I'm 17 and a junior in highschool. My favorite colors are deep blue and blue green. I think that's because of the water. My two best friends are named Nina and Danny. I am a procrastinator. I can be really shy sometimes. I like all music, except country and jazz." I tell him.

"I love music. I especially love singing. But I'm not very good at it." Harry blushes as he says this.

"I bet you're amazing. Sing something for me." I grin.

"Well... Okay, sure." Harry returns my smile. "Niall and the boys all dabble in music, especially song writing. Niall usually writes for us."

I nod and Harry begins to sing.

"You know I've always got your back, girl, so let me be the one you come running to, running to, r-r-running to. I see it's just matter of fact, girl, you just call my name, I'll be coming through, coming through, I'll keep coming. On the other side of the world, it don't matter, I'll be there in two, I'll be there in two, I'll be there in two. I still feel it every time. It's just something that you do. Now ask me why I want to. It's everything about you, you, you." As Harry finishes, even the birds are silent. I stare at him, and he looks nervous. "Uhm, was it that bad?"

"No. You were freaking... Amazing! i wish I could sing like that!" I grin at him.

"Thank you." He says, turning to face me, still holding my hand.

He just looks so vulnerable at that moment, and so handsome. His lips look plump and pink, and I can't help myself. So I stand on my tiptoes, wrap my arms around his neck, and kiss him.
