A New Life In A New Year (sequal to A FAIRY TAIL CHRISTMAS)

Chapter 23

August 8th 

Lucy's pov 

it's my birthday and we are all going out. strangly Levy and Erza suggested going to a club, maybe they just miss the vibe. all the kids are being looked after by Jaden and Grace which i feel sorry for because that is a lot of children but who knows, they've done it before i guess.  

me and natsu made up. but who said relationships don't have arguments, i still won't forgive the kiss but i still love natsu and i'm still marrying him and we are still happy togther. 'you ready luce' natsu asked and i nodded staring in the mirror sorting my dress out. i turned to my pink haired fiance and linked my arm with his. 

when we arrived at the club we saw the others sitting by a table which fits eight people. 

'BIRTHDAY GIRL!' levy cheered and i laughed and greeted them all. 

Natsu's pov 

it's great here. absolutly great. Lucy is enjoying herself getting drunk and i'm just limited three beers. yep i'm the taxi tonight. 

'oh well isn't it the mockery of me' i heard a familier voice and as i turned around i saw Loke standing by the bar. 

'i don't want anything to do with you' i replied and Loke started getting up close as if he wanted to punch me but i just moved. 

'well you have no choice, since your my sons new stepfather' 

'Loke, shut up, why don't you act like a dad, then your son might acyually like you' i heard lokes bottle slam against the bar making it shatter and i looked at him. 

'what?' i walked closer to him with anger and grabbed his collor. 

'act like a dad, and your son might actually like you back' i repeated and Loke went and puched me right in the face so i punched him back. 

'WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO TALK ABOUT MY KID!' 

'OH COME ON LOKE I'VE BEEN WITH YOUR KID MORE THAN YOU!' i shouted. 

'MY NAME IS LEO!' 

'ITS LOKE YOU RETARD' 

'AAAAARRRRRRRRHHHHHHH!' as we carried on fighting we ended up outside and i could tell the other guys followed me out. 

'NATSU STOP IT NOW!' gray shouted but i just ignored him and carried on fighting this jerk. 

'YOU WILL NEVER BE LOUIS'S FATHER. I AM HIS FATHER....YOU ARE JUST A PINK HAIRED WHO TRIES TO HARD FOR ACCEPTANCE!' 

'AT LEAST I'M THERE FOR YOUR KID WHEN HE NEEDS A FATHER INSTEAD OF YOU INVITING RANDOM GIRLS TO YOUR HOUSE WHILST HE IS THERE!' my voice got louder and i could feel blood running down my nose and my lip was bleeding badly too.  i could feel Gajeel try and detach me and i just carried on punching Loke, this man just makes me angry and i'm sick and tired of it. 

'NATSU, LOKE STOP!' as soon as i heard Lucy's voice i stopped and Loke just stood up and kicked me in the face. 

Lucy's pov 

i watched Loke kick natsu and he walked over to me. 'Lucy, i won you-' i punched him making the audience gasp and he just stood by the door. the guys tried to wake natsu up and as he took a breath i cried. 

'Lucy' he said my name and tears just flew down my face. 'i'm so sorry' he got up and i just frowned at him. i walked closer and slapped him hard around the face. and juvia took me to her car. 

'lucy let it out' Juvia said as she drove the car and i just burst out in tears. 

'why is it every birthday we have, something happens?' i cried and juvia used one of her hands to confort me by tapping my shoulder. and quickly putting her hand on the wheel. 

'Gray said that natsu can be hot headed' 

'but if that was infront of louis, he would hate both of them' 

'true' 

'how are you and gray?' i asked they both have little arguments but he promises that he'll never leave Juvia or the twins. 

'we're fine. still in love, it's just that he seems to be more attacthed to vicky and Mason' 

'Mason?' 

'Morgan' she hates vicky and this kid so much she isn't even intrested in knowing his name. 

'she is taking him away from me...stupid love rival' 

'juvia, she just wants gray to get along with her son' 

'yeah, and then get along with whats in his trousers' i just laughed when juvia said that. 

'i don't think sh-' 

'she is very close to him, they are suddenly best friends. DID YOU KNOW THE THREE OF THEM WENT TO BREAKFAST!' 

'alright juvia calm down' she is so worked up. we went to Levy's and saw grace and Jaden looking after the children in the window. we knocked on the door. 

'hello guys' we said as they stood by the door. 

'you are back early?' jaden asked and we just laughed. 

'a few ups and downs thats all. is Louis still awake?' i asked and they shook their heads. they let me and juvia in and i picked up my son and put him in the middle seat of juvia's car, juvia then buckled in the twins. 

'see you later' we said and hugged the teens and they waved goodbye. 

Natsu's pov 

i waved bye to jellal and erza who gave me and gray lifts to our houses and i staggered to the front door. as i walked in Lucy was sitting on the wooden chair in the kitchen and she was glaring at me. 

'why?' was all she said and it sent chills in my back. 

'he started it' 

'NATSU YOU ARE 28 YEARS OLD. NOT 10. I DON'T CARE WHO STARTED IT, IT'S FINISHED BUT WHY DID YOU CARRY ON!' 

'because-' she interupted me with another slap. 'WHAT THE HELL LUCY, DON'T YOU THINK I'M BEAT UP ENOUGH!' i snapped and lucy just cried. 

'I'M FED UP WITH ALL THIS DRAMA THAT HAPPENS BETWEEN ALL OF US. WHY CAN'T WE BE NORMAL!' 

'I DON'T KNOW LUCY NOT EVERYONE IS PERFECT!' 

'like our relationship' lucy said that last thing really calm but emotionless and it broke my heart. 

'you guys woke me up' we heard louis's soft voice and we turned to see him rubbing his eyes. 'why do you argue now?' 

'because couples do that Louis, look go back to bed and i'll come back up in a moment' Lucy cried and louis did as he was told. i walked to the kitchen to get something cold for my face. 

'natsu i don't want us to keep fighting. i mean, we're getting married for christs sake. can we just forget about it' i smiled but nothing could change on what loke did to me.  i walked towards her and embraced her. 

'i really am truly sorry for tonight. i ruined your birthday' lucy giggled and carried on hugging me. 

'there is a way to solve this problem we are having' 

'what's that?' i was very clueless right now. 

'i want another baby' those words made my heart skip. 

'you sure?' 

'please, it will only make me happy and it could calm this feud we are having' i smiled and kissed her head. 

'i will do anything to make you happy' i whispered and lucy hugged me. 'but i'm in too much pain to start now' i said and lucy laughed. 

'i love you' she said and i hugged her tight again. 

'i love you too'
