She tried to hold back,
But it's uncontrollably,
Tears flowing like a river,
The color blue paints her mood.
She tries to hide it,
Behind a smiling face,
Like a mask,
But she can't.
Her emotions tearing her down,
Heartbreak like a dagger through her chest,
Sadness like rain on a sunny day,
Betrayal yelling harsh words at her,
As depression engulfs her.
She feels dead,
Although she's alive,
No one cares how she feels,
She's alone ,
Against the world.
She's broken,
Beyond repair,
A frown marrying her face,
She's lost,
Unable to find her way,
Her heart, mind and body shattered,
Unshed tears and sadness dancing in her eyes,
This is how she feels.
