after I finish packing everything that could possibly fit in my small blue suitcase. I manage to find the courage to call Liv and explain that I'm moving.
"your what!" She shouts into the phone.
"I'm moving" I reply
"Your joking? right? You can't possibly be serious" she says trying to make sense of the situation.
"no Liv I'm serious, and I'm leaving tommorow" I say
"Tomorrow?" she shrieks
"Yeah" I reply
"you can't go! Your my best friend" she says sniffling.
"I know Liv, but you have plenty of other friends You'll be fine" I say beginning to sniffle as well "I have to go bye Liv" I quickly hang up before she responds sinking back into my bed. Tears drip down my cheeks as a realize how much I truly would miss Liv she had always been such a good friend. Getting out of bed I stare at my mirror It was a body length mirror, and I'd usually use it to approve my outfit for the school day. But right now I was just staring at the tears that continued to pour from my eyes. I take a Deep breath and wipe them away channeling the happiness I had felt for my mom when she shared the news. I truly was happy for my mom at least my mom had always wanted to move to escape the town her husband and my father had left her heartbroken in. I never knew my father he had left when I was born, and that had always made a piece of me feel like it was my fault he left. Sighing I plop back down onto my bed, and wrap my arms around my pillow. Closing my eyes I let myself slowly drift of into sleep.
"Cecilia" My mom's voice echoes through my ears "Cecilia wake up" she says shaking my shoulder lightly.
"five more minutes" I mumble into my pillow.
"Cecilia please we have to get going" My mom's pleading voice makes my eyes snap open. I quickly get out of bed my mom exits my room and I quickly get changed into a lilac top and some jean shorts. I stuff my phone in my back pocket and lace up my boots. I Know, I know shorts and boots don't quite make since but it's just my style. I glance in the mirror one last time before speeding down the staircase with my suitcase trailing behind me bumping down each step.
"That was quick" my mom said sipping coffee from her travel mug I just nod slightly. We head outside and, I put my mom's suitcase as well as my own in the back seat. Before getting in the front seat my mom sending a smile my way and, then turning her attention to the road turning the ignition key and beginning to drive away I glance back at my house or should I say my old house as it drifts away in the distance.
