Draco's POV
"Abbott," I yell as I see the head girl walk down the hallway. Cradling her head in my arms, I wait for the girl to come over.
"Please help! Do you know how to help her?"
She nods timidly, drawing her wand and muttering a few spells. "What happened, Malfoy? Did you hurt her?"
I shake my head, and I sloppily wipe the tears rolling down my cheeks. "Not on purpose! I meant to hit the wall, I swear!"
She didn't look like she believed me. "Up," She orders shyly, "We need to see McGonagall. Now."
By this time, Hermione is half awake and holding her right eye. "Up you get, Granger," I whisper softly. She obeys but in a very confused state. "What's just happened, Draco?"
Abbott knew the password, unlike us, which turns out to be "Severus." I follow her through, supporting Granger. I know that I deserve to be punished because there's one thing I hate a lot and that's people who beat their partners.
Abbott knocks, and patiently waits for McGonagall to open the door. "Professor, I need to see you urgently. Can we come in?"
She nods, opening the door wider in response.
Then her eyes do the same, immediately pushing me off of Hermione. "What have you done, Mister Malfoy? Why is Miss Granger hurt?"
"It was an accident, I swear! I would never hurt Hermione," I whisper the last part, looking away and feeling tears well in my eyes.
"What happened?" She pressed, muttering a spell to make her fully conscious.
"Ow," moaned Hermione, removing her hand from her eye. I take a sharp intake of breath as its red, blackening and swollen.
"I was angry. I-i tried to punch the wall but Hermione got in the way and I punched her by accident... I'm so sorry 'Mione."
"Be that as it may, this cannot go unpunished-"
"No!" Hermione cries, "It was my fault, not Draco's. Please don't put him in detention."
Mcgonagall looks at us three over her spectacles. Her moon stands by me and I grip her hand tightly.
"You may go back to lesson, Miss Abbott."
"Yes, Professor."
She leaves the office, whilst Professor McGonagall sits down behind her desk.
"Mister Malfoy, I'm going to let you off with a warning, considering everything that has happened. But I will take matters much more seriously if any incident happens again. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Professor."
"Good. I think it would be best for you both to take the day off, to accommodate the situation. Miss Granger, please step forward."
Hermione, who I didn't realise was holding my hand, let go and walked up to McGonagall.
She murmured a healing spell and after, cursed about Madame Pomfrey taking the day off.
We walked out of the office and Granger took my hand. "Where are you taking me?" I ask, smiling.
"I'm about to change your life," she replies softly.
I laugh once. "Then by all means, lead the way."We come to stand by the wall and I turn to Hermione chuckling. "The room of Requirement?"
"Just you wait. "
The door appears and we step through it.
My heart almost stops.
"Venice?" I gasp and turn back to her.
She smiles and placing her head on my shoulder, she entwines her fingers through mine.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
"Nowhere near as beautiful as you."
Hey peeps! I'm finally back. Guess who broke her phone again...
