Chapter 11 - The End

My knees became weak and I collapsed, lying on the cold hard ground. I couldn't hold back the tears any longer, he was gone. I loved him so much. My mum came and sat on the ground next to me, stroking my head. I'm not a dog. As I went to sit up my phone vibrated, I couldn't read through the tears at first but then I saw who it was from. "Meet at the tower closest to you but don't bring anyone, Flappy xx"

"OH MY GOD MUM FLAPPY BIRD JUST SENT ME 2 KISSES WHAT IS AIR!" I shouted, then I had to remind myself that we were practically dating. I took a breath and told everyone what he'd said. Of course they told me how unsafe it was to travel alone when splashy fish was out to kill flappy bird and probably me if I got in the way. I had to get to him though. I nodded my head in agreement. "WHAT IS THAT BEHIND YOU OH MY GOD LOOK IT IS A THING!" I screamed, as they all turned around I ran straight towards the tower.

I ran about 3 metres when I tripped and fell onto the ground again, I rolled onto my back, gasping for air. I don't run. I saw the bodyguards hurtling towards me and I immediately jumped up and raced to the stairs leading up the tower. I could hear his wings flapping and it made my legs move faster. I reached the top, my vision blurred and my breath coming out in short gasps. I hung on to the wall, trying to compose myself. Then I remembered what was happening. I turned round and realised there was no one there, then I noticed the ladder. I leapt onto the ladder and climbed up rapidly, hearing the warnings shouted from below. I ignored them though, finally I got to the very top. It wasn't what I was expecting, fear and disappointment was an understatement of what I was feeling. It wasn't flappy bird, it was splashy fish. The flapping of his wings was actually the movement of his fins.

"I'm happy to see that you didn't bring anyone up here with you, although we do have an audience." He gestured to below where roughly twenty people were gathered, frozen. None of them dared to move, I realized why as soon as he turned round. He had a gun rested on his fin. I must have looked scared because he said "You do exactly what I say, it would be a shame if you got shot." I gulped but nodded. "Can I just ask a question?" He didn't say anything so I carried on. "Where is Fla-"

"DID I SAY YOU COULD SPEAK!?" he screamed at me.

"Well you didn't say anything so I just assumed it was a yes gosh."

"Don't sass me."

"I wasn't sassing, I was explaining."

"Shut up."

"Ok." I said.

"Can I trust you?" He asked me.

"Um yes.." I replied curiously.

He handed me the gun. "Don't shoot me." He said calmly,

"Ok." I replied.

"I want you to kill flappy bird."

"Hell n-"

"DO WHAT I SAY OR I S2G I WILL PLUCK YOUR EYELASHES OUT ONE BY ONE AND I WILL SCRATCH YOUR EYES OUT AND I WILL PINCH YOUR FACE 20 TIMES AND I WILL TREAD ON YOUR FEET 32 TIMES AND I WILL-"

"Fine" I heard multiple gasps from the ground. Splashy fish led me down the stairs, as we got further underground I heard a strange breathing noise. I leaned close to splashy fish and whispered "You can't tread on my feet because you are literally a fish that hovers through the air."

"Do you want to be shot?" He replied, giving me a death stare.

"I have the gun."

"Oh right, sorry."

"It's ok."

We finally reached the end of the stairs, it was so dark. The only light coming from a single lantern on the wall. It appeared to be behind a set of bars, where something huge slept. A dragon. I ran towards the bars when I saw a wing poking out from behind. It was him. "FLAPPY" He jumped up when he heard my name and I was dragged back suddenly by my hair. I screamed and tried to claw at the fish. He turned me round to face him. "Remember about our little agreement?" He reminded me, I gulped and before he could do anything I threw the gun behind me and punched him in the face. He fell through the air and for once landed on the floor, I was so distracted by the fear that I didn't even notice the ground shaking. I turned and saw that the dragon had awoken. But it was a fake robot dragon thing so it didn't really matter lol.
