Chapter 17

-Bailey's PoV-

After Seamus and I came back from lunch Jordan started a Creature Talk. I sat next to James and Aleks. Sly was across from me, Seamus was on the end, and Dan and Jordan sat next to Sly. We started up the pre show with us talking about random stuff

"Hey Alyboo where's Talia?" I asked using Aleks' nickname

"She's in my office and please don't call me Alyboo again" He sighed

"Why doesn't Alyboo like his nickname?" I asked giggling. He glared at me then started talking to Sly. James kept kicking me under the table as I talked to Seamus. I turned to James and he smiled

"What?" I asked and he kicked me again. The music started indicating the pre show was over

"Alright welcome to Creature Talk. Today we have James, Bailey, Aleks, Seamus, Sly, Dan and myself." Jordan said and my phone went off which was playing Thnks Fr Th Mmrs by Fall Out Boy over at the computer I was at earlier

"Sorry" I got up and walked to my phone. Ce was calling me

"Yeah? Well I'm kinda in the middle of something can it wait? Ok after Creature Talk is over I will. Bye Ce" I hung up and sat back down. I scooted my chair closer to Aleks so James would stop kicking me

"Why are you so close to me?" Aleks asked

"No reason" I stayed quiet until someone asked me a question. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out.

Seamus: What's wrong?

Bailey: Nothing why?

Seamus: Your acting weird

I put my phone back in my pocket and started reading the chat. I started to fall asleep while reading questions. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. Aleks nudged me and I woke up

"What" I yawned

"James asked you a question" I looked obver at James tiredly

"What was your question" I leaned my head in my hand waiting for him to ask the question

"Uh, nevermind" I rolled my eyes and went back to sleep. This time my head fell out of my hand and my face smacked the table. I woke up after my face hit the table. I walked out of the room and into the bathroom. I splashed water on my face then walked out and ran into James

"Excuse me James" I tried walking around him but he would step in front of me. He grabbed my hand and dragged me to his office.

-Seamus' PoV-

After Bailey left the room James left. Aleks, Jordan, and Dan were talking about some game. I texted Bailey a few times but she never answered. Talia walked in and came over to Aleks. She whispered something to him then she left. I looked at Aleks and he shrugged. I decided to ask him later. Creature Talk ended shortly and Bailey nor James came back. We put the table away and moved the couch back and everyone went back to their office

"Hey Aleks" I said and he turned around

"Yeah" I shoved my hands in my pockets

"Do you know where Bailey went?" I asked

"Um, yeah Talia took her home because she said she was too tired to continue Creature Talk" I nodded and he left. I text Bailey but she didn't answer. I left the office and went to Bailey's apartment. I parked my car and headed into the building. I walked up to her apartment and knocked on the door. Talia answered the door

"Hey Seamus" Talia said

"Hi, Aleks told me you brought Bailey home and I kinda got worried when she didn't come back" I said. Talia fidgeted around and looked at the floor

"Is she ok?" I asked and Talia nodded

"Who's at the door Tali?" Bailey asked. Talia turned around and Bailey walked up to the door. Talia walked away and Bailey stood there. She had tear streaks down her cheeks and her eyes were red and puffy

"Were you crying?" I asked. She shook her head

"No, why?" She spoke

"Your eyes are puffy and red." She started crying and I hugged her. She cried in my shirt as I comforted her. I walked into her apartment with her still holding onto me. I sat her on the couch and I sat next to her

"What happened at the office?" I asked

"N-nothing" She stuttered

"Then what happened?" She looked at me with tears in her eyes

"I-i can't tell you" She cried. Something happened and I need to find out.

-Bailey's PoV-

Seamus and I fell asleep on the couch after we watched a movie. My nightmares haven't appeared after last week. I was awoken by Seamus moving around on the couch. I was laying on top of him since we have a pretty small couch. I opened my eyes and looked at him. He was still asleep. He had his arm around my waist and the other behind his head. I didn't move until he woke up

"Morning Sea" I said quietly

"Morning" I sat up as did he

"We slept on the couch last night?" He asked while stretching

"Yeah." I was too tired to return with sarcasm

"Good morning you two!" Talia said. Seamus and I both groaned

"What's wrong?" She asked as she walked down the stairs

"We slept on the couch what do you think is wrong" I said

"Yeah sleeping on the couch sucks expecially when two people sleep on it" She walked into the kitchen and I followed her

"No shit Sherlock" I mumbled

"Fuck off Watson" Talia said and started to make her coffee

"I'm not going to the office today" I said getting a bottle of water from the fridge

"Why?" Talia asked

"You know why" I snapped. I walked up to my room and changed out of my clothes from yesterday. I put pajamas on and crawled into bed. I was still tired from only getting maybe 3 hours of sleep. I put headphones in my ears and played Pandora. I fell asleep listening to Banga! Banga! by Austin Mahone. I dreamt about what happened yesterday between James and I.
