I wake up around 9:30 with a huge grin on my face. I hop out of bed and run to go wake up my little brother Finn.

"IT'S SUMMER!" I shout as open the door to Finn's bedroom.

"Bye Logan." Finn says uncovering his head from the safety of his blankets.

"No way sleepyhead." I go to turn on the lights in his room and accidentally hit the wrong switch causing all of Finn's carefully built Lego masterpieces to come to life. The fire trucks' lights start flashing and sirens start going, the windmill starts spinning and the train- Hogwarts Express, Finn is always correcting me on that, starts moving around the track. Making Lego sets was Finn's thing, it was his way of communicating with us. We each have a character in Finn's Lego world. I'm Princess Leia, mom is Black Widow, Finn is Harry Potter, and our dad is Superman, who is currently on a Lego cloud on top of his dresser because, according to Finn, that's where Heaven is. Every time he meets a new person worth talking about he takes on the characters he has in his display case and adds it to his world.

"Hey stop it." Finn says finally sitting up. He was very protective of his Legos.

"Sorry." I say turning off Finn's Lego world and flipping the switch to turn on the lights. "But it's the first day of summer and you know what means?"

"Legoland!" Finn shouts.

"No, buddy. Legoland is in July, its June right now." I say. "What are you doing in June?"

"Bigger friend." Finn says very excitedly.

"That's right! Now get dressed so we can have breakfast and go meet your bigger friend." I say. This summer my mom decided to sign Finn up or a Big Brother Big Sister thing for kids with disabilities and today I am taking Finn to the park to meet his "bigger friend", Calum. I head downstairs where I see a note from my mom.

Out of Lucky Charms, sorry. Do your best.

Great, the only cereal Finn eats is empty. So I grab the Cheerios and mini marshmallows and make a fake version of Lucky Charms.

"Breakfast." Finn says as he enters the kitchen.

"Here you go." I say giving him the Cheerio marshmallow concoction.

"Lucky Charms?" Finn asked rather sceptic of the food in front of him.

"These are special Lucky Charms," I say trying to make this up as I go. "They have magic powers that will help make you a master builder!" I say causing Finn's eyes to open wide as he practically shoves all the food in his mouth.

Ever since The Lego Movie came out, which I took him to see about three times, he has been obsessed with becoming a master builder. While Finn is eating I go back to my room to get changed. I throw on a pair of jean shorts and a simple fitted grey shirt. I walk back downstairs and make sure Finn put his bowl in the sink, which he didn't. I grab and apple for the road and walk into my dad's old office where I find Finn sitting on the computer looking at pictures of Lego sets, like usual.

"Come on buddy lets go, it's almost 10 and we don't want to be late for your bigger friend." I say. Finn pops up and walks over to the front door and waits for me while I get my purse and slip on my flip flops.

When we reach the park I see a four tall boys standing there, each with a sign that has a name on it, expect for the one with black and red hair whose sign had two names on it. One of the boys was holding a sign that said "FINN" so I'm assuming that must be Calum and the other boys were his friends waiting for their own "little brothers". Finn and I get out of the car and walk over to the boys where we are greeted with 'hi's and 'hey's from them.

"Ok now find the sign that has your name on it and that boy will be your bigger friend." I say to Finn. It takes him awhile but eventually he goes up to Calum and says hello.
