Nightmares (Medic X Reader)

Ava

You were at work and Medic was home because he had the day off. It was a few months after the execution. You have fully recovered. Medic was able to get his medical license back. Right now, he was making himself some coffee. Archimedes sat on his shoulder. Before he finished, there was soft knocking the the back door. 'Weird...' He went to the back to answer.

He opened the door and he was shocked what he saw. It was a little girl. She had a small rabbit stuffed animal with her. The rabbit was grey. One of its arms was missing. One of its button eyes was almost falling off. The  girl was soaked from the rain. She was shivering as she held the rabbit close to her chest. She wore a white sun dress that looked tattered and parts were covered in mud. She wasn't wearing any shoes. She had dark, brown hair and it was messy. She had pale skin and it was also covered in some mud. She had blue eyes. She looked a bit too thin. She was crying.

He let her inside. He bought her to the bathroom because she has scratches and bruises on her. She was wrapped in a towel as she sat on the edge of the bathtub. Medic started to clean her injuries. She started crying and pulled her arm away. "What's the matter?" "That hurts." "I know it does, but I'm just trying to help."

She let him finish, but it was difficult. He took her to the kitchen where he made her some warm food. He sat across from her, "So, can you tell me your name sweetie?" She spoke in a quiet tone of voice, "Ava..."  "That's a nice name." She didn't say anything. "May I ask how you got here?" She remained silent. "Please?" She shook her head. "Why not?" She hugged her rabbit, "They'll get mad." "Who will?" "Mommy and David." "Can you tell me more about that?" "No..." She began sobbing. Medic got up and knelt in front of Ava and gently held her shoulder. He gave her a smile. "I will be able to help you of you tell me, Ava." He handed her a napkin from the table and she took it. "Can you tell me about your mother and David?" She noded and he took his hand off her shoulder. "What are they like?"
