She was so...sweet, he thought he could say. He noticed how she blushed every time he said a silly remark, and how her hands trembled yet felt so careful.

"Watcha thinking about?" Robert Downey Jr. slaps his shoulder. He turns around and looks at him.

"What makes you think I'm thinking?" He raised his brows.

"Dude, you haven't stared into space since we first started filming. So tell me, is it that new chick?" He smirks.

"Her name is Mallory." He purses his lips. Robert smiles goofily and raises his hands up in defense.

"So it is her?"

"I guess." He knew it was. There was just something about her, as cliche as that sounds. Was it her hair? How it just hanged in a perfect braid down her back. Or was it those beautiful blue eyes? He knew it was them. How they just stared into his, so sure.. But then when he'd say something, she would look down at her shoes with those Captain America socks peeking out.

"Awe, my friend, you're fangirling."

"That's not even what that means!" He laughs.

"I know. But dude, seriously, ask her to dinner or something. Don't be shy," he pokes Chris' cheek.

"Shut up," he mumble under his breath and walks off the set. He should go to her right now, knowing maybe the suit will help convince her to have dinner with him, but he wants to get out of it. So he turns and walks away from the makeup station and into his trailer. Inside he takes off the suit and puts on his outfit of blue jeans and a snug fitting white shirt.

As he approaches Mallory, he watches her put away her makeup into a huge suitcase. Her thin yet tall figure moves swiftly back and forth, as if she's listening to music. Feeling a little queasy, he taps her shoulder. She jumps and takes out her earphones. He could hear the music from here, it was so loud.

"Uh, hello." She awkwardly greets him. "Hold on, let me turn this off." She pulls out her phone and pauses the music.

"What were you listening to?" He tries to create a conversation.

"Oh, um, just some old music." She smiles faintly.

"70s?"

"60s." She confirms. "And 70s." He notices her pink cheeks.

"Nice. So I was wondering, would you want to go to dinner later? I mean, if you can't I understand-"

"Tomorrow." She grabs her oversized bag and tries to pull it after her. She struggles a little.

"Here let me help," he offers.

"No no, I couldn't have you do-"

"I insist," he gives her a flashing smile and she lets go of the handle. He takes it in his right hand and walks along side her.

"My car is just right up there," she points to the tan convertible Jeep.

"So how was your first day?" He asks.

"Oh it was good. A little boring waiting in between scenes," she rolls her eyes and he smiles. He must look ridiculous, smiling so much.

"Well, tomorrow we can have a great time at dinner," he winks and she stops at the back of her car.

"Okay." She stands awkwardly with her yellow apron still on.

"So, three o'clock?" He lifts the case and puts it in the back.

"That's fine." She nods. "But don't you need my address?"

"Oh yeah!" He laughs. He feels so dumb, but she seems to be getting along with it.

"Well, I don't know it. I just moved in. So here's my number. I'll text you the address once I get home." She hands him a business card with her number. He notices her shaky hands.

"Okay thanks! And Mals?"

"Yeah?" She opens the door to her Jeep.

"Your apron is still on." He glances at the yellow. Her eyes grow wide and she quickly fumbles to untie the back. She takes it off and folds it up.

"Sorry about that." She winces.

"Haha Mals it's not a big deal." He chuckles as she climbs in the car. She closes the door and waves to him. He waves back and walks off for his car. On the way though, he stops when he notices Robert whistling.

"Good going, brother." He smirks.

"Oh uh, thanks."

"Yeah, Mr. Flirtatious," Jeremy walks out from behind him. He still has his suit and arrows still on.

"Why is everyone so into my social life?"

"Cause you're thirty-two and still single." At this, Chris turns red. "But good luck and text me how it goes." Jeremy pulls out his phone and starts texting someone.

"Okay," Chris says slowly and back away from him. He walks to his car, and gets in. Now thinking about it, he couldn't really wait till tomorrow, when he'd see her again. Yet again, that sounds so cheesy and cliche, but it is the truth...
