"Father... this isn't right." Evan Rae set his fork down the table before he stood to face his father. "You can't just sell Ari off to cover the company's debt... What if some freak does something to her?" His light brown hair shook off the drops of water that still clung to his hair from his shower. Blue eyes sparkled dangerously as his anger started to grow. "Where is she right now, Mother?"
"She is with Vanessa and Chloe for the night." Clarissa Rae whispered behind her wine glass. "I'm much against this as you are Ev... Mike and Joey are against it as well." She set the glass down and her brown eyes looked towards the doors where her other two sons come charging in with pure rage written across their face. "Boys, welcome home."
All of her children had those bright baby blue eyes. Her sons were all tall handsome men, none of which are married, and she feared they might never do so as well. Arilyn was her only girl, her baby and her precious innocent child. She wasn't like her brothers but she could be if she wanted to but that just wasn't her personality. With all her sons sitting agitated around the dinner table in front of her husband and herself ready to discuss this six hundred million dollar debt and Arilyn's future, she ran a limp hand through her graying blonde hair.
"I think Ari should be here for this." Mike chewed out as he repeatedly poked his potatoes with his fork.
"Why so  she can run away?" Edward Rae, the father of the four and owner or Rae Inc., leaned back in his chair his salt and pepper dark brown hair was disheveled from running his large hands through it. "She needs to contribute to this family..."
"She is only eighteen!" Joey burst out. "What do you want her to do? Open her legs to thousands of rich men for money like all those other teenage whores?"
"You should be happy that she still has her purity." Evan pushed his plate away, his appetite completely gone. "Besides the men out there want someone who know what they are doing, someone that will bend to their every want and obey their every word..."
"Ari isn't like that. She most likely doesn't even know what men look like naked... she dislikes being commanded to do things."  Joey sighed.
"She'll be like a scared little lamb when forced into the bedroom... Lions like these men you are offering her too will eat her alive." Mike's lip twitched as he pictured his sweet baby sister being brutally damaged by some old disgusting man.
"She is the company's only hope..." Edward sighed.
"Have you asked O'Conner for a loan?" Evan asked.
"Tch, that young brat won't help anyone." he spat back.
    "What about Jefferies? Cowen? Montgomery?"
"They all agree to this auction, O'Conner is offering his Hotel up for the setting..."
"Some friend he is..." leaving the room he made a bee line for the front door.

Unaware what was going on Arilyn stood still on the platform in which her father placed her; a piece of white silk making her baby blue eyes unable to focus on the whats in front of her under bright white lights, cool air chilled her bare arms and legs that the white silk dress didn't cover. She couldn't hear a thing but she could feel the vibration of the ground beneath her feet suggesting someone was speaking through a microphone. Slowly she reached up to pull off the blindfold but someone delicately took a hold of her wrists and put them back down. She was confused, everything felt different... The way her brothers looked at her with upset looks and what was it? Helplessness?
"Excuse me..." A large hand enveloped hers and with a tug she stumbled from the platform and into warm arms. "I'll be taking what I paid for..." The voice was husky and tickled her ears like a feather. The soft scent of aged whiskey and a woody smell, her small fingers felt soft silk then little buttons before greeting warm skin and small curls of chest hair? "From now on Miss Rae just do what I tell you and you will live a comfortable life..."
"Wait! What? Who are you? I can't see anything!" Frustrated she pulled the blindfold off and opened her eyes to see a pair of deep green ones staring intently back at her.
"Jareth... Jareth O'Conner." He said flatly, her hand touched his cheek feeling the roughness from his beard though there wasn't much there except for a decent amount around his mouth. Noticing what she did, she let her hand fall to her side but his hand caught it and held it. Chocolate brown stands of hair fell from it's slicked back state and onto his forehead. "From now on... You are my property."
    "What? Why? How?"
"No one told you?" He gently pushed her into an elevator. "You're father came to me asking for money for his debt... I do not loan money unless I am getting a profit. As he became desperate he decided to sell you to the highest bidder." Swiping a platinum looking card and pressing the highest number, his powerful hips pressed her against the wall. "Did you not read the papers your father had you sign when you walked into this hotel?"
"No... because I trust daddy." She felt like a sack of meat being a dangled in front of a shark. Her neck felt like it would snapped if she had to bend it back any further to look him in the eyes.
"Well... Mrs. O'Conner." His large hand cupped her cheek as he brought his mouth down roughly on hers. She struggled against him, her bare feet sliding on the marble floor as her hands pushed and shoved against his chest. His other hand ran up her thigh slowly, his fingers making small circular motions making her legs feel like jelly. "Don't fight me..."
"Nn..." As soon as she went to protest his tongue swept in, the heat was unbearable as he got more touchy with her, bringing her legs up around his waist. She was panicking now, her nails scratched at his skin making him let out a groan.
The elevator opened up and he carried her into the spacious room will with expensive statues. Plopping her on the bench next to the door he went into his pocket, the jingle of keys echoed in the quiet room as he slipped a key into the lock. The door opened with a loud thud as he pulled her in.
Clothes littered the floor with crumbled up paper and empty bottles of liquor where sprawled across an possible seating and counter space. Her nose twisted in disgust at the site, but he pulled her past the mess and into a spotless bedroom. The dark wood was beautiful against the light grey painted walls, soft white carpet that was rolled out under the bed felt nice between her toes. The bed felt perfect underneath her as he thrown her on it, getting on top of her she braced herself for the roughness of his hands. But instead soft snores filled the quiet unused bedroom. What is wrong with this man? She tried to move under his weight but she couldn't, after trying a few times more she ended falling asleep.
