Ten

You both walked further through the vents just to fall into the next room on the hard floor. But you also saw a pair of short, stubby legs go near the ceiling, the Janitor is in the room.

You rolled your eyes in annoyence, when will it ever end!? You both walked forward, quietly, to the door in front of you. Six went to turn the knob, but the door just fell right over, slamming into the floor.

"Welp...that happened," you said.

The room was filled with clocks, lots of clocks!! You both walked in, but suddenly stopped when a shreik of clock alarms went off, filling your ears with 'death'. You noticed that the Janitor was in the room, and he also didn't like the sounds of the clocks.

Six noticed something you didn't, an idea. Onced the clocks chimmed and strangled the life out of the Janitors ears, you ran as far as you could before they stop. And once they stopped, so did the two of you, and you waited for the clocks to chime again just to do a repeat until you got out.

Once you got out, you both ran through the hallways, the Janitor somehow chasing you. Thankfully, some nearby clocks disturbed his ears and you both ran into the next room.

Now the Janitor wasn't following the both of you anymore, you both walked normally forward. There was tall stacks of books here and there. They looked like hard-backed skyscrapers.

Six started to climb one stack, and you followed, jumped off on a giant nearby desk, and hopped onto a hanging piano. "Why is there a hanging piano?" you asked.

She shrugged," maybe they needed more space."

"For what exactly?" you ask

"...I have no idea." she answers.

You both then jump on a nearby bookshelf, climbing up the books, some fell every few steps. And there he was, the Janitor was in the room, you again roll your eyes in annoyence.

You wait for him to leave his spot and you climbed onto the new platform. You both noticed that a crank was missing it's crank, now it was time to look for it. You both went forward and noticed more tall stacked books and that the Janitor was nearby.

You both climbed up the first tall book stack and parkoured from one bookshelf to another. Six found another toy monkey and threw it to another side of the room, leading the Janitor away while the two of you continued.

You then finally made it into another room, unlike others it had a television in it, and in front of the both of you was a crank. Bingo!! But how where you going to get out?

Six had an idea, and turned of the television, it was playing some 1960's show, and it made the Janitor waddle right into the room. He didn't notice you yet.

You both quietly left the room, but he caught your scent and followed you out. You both started to run fast with the crank in hand. He almost caught you, but an inch too far. You both got out of there fast, quickly put the crank in its place, and turned it fast before the Janitor can catch up to you.

The hanging piano was rising up and it lead to the next place, you wonder where. You both jumped onto the piano and onto the next platform and got out of there.

You both landed into the next room, it had a train track in it, but for what?

Six noticed a gas leak coming from one of the rails, and a small train cart. She pulled the cart over the gas and you both jumped over it, while you pulled it forward to jump out of the room.

You both continued forward, ignoring the huge drop that could lead you to your deaths and entered a vent. The vent had pipes in it and holes here and there.

"Finally, away from the Janitor." you said in relief.

"No..." Six stood quiet for a second," he is waiting to grab us through the holes."

"How do you know?" you asked.

"I smell him, and he smells awful," she pointed out.

You sniffed the air and nodded in agreement, you both continued forward, cautious from the holes in the wall and made it out.
