Chapter forty - misfire

//as promised, the heartbreak chapter has arrived- also there will only be about ten more chapters after this and then I will be writing a prequel to this book which focuses on Vkook and Jin and Hobi//

Jin curled up against Namjoon's side, burying his head against the boy's bare chest and smiled widely. He felt warm and safe when he was around Namjoon, he didn't ever want to move from this position. He felt a hand idly stroke his hair and he glanced up to see his husband smile down at him through sleep-dazed eyes. "I love you Joonie.." Namjoon pulled Jin up onto his chest and pressed a quick, soft kiss to the older boy's lips. "I love you too baby.." Jin giggled and got up off of Namjoon, pulling on a t-shirt over his boxers and sending his husband an eye smile. "Let's go out today, to a forest or a park or something...I just want some fresh air."  Namjoon nodded and got out of bed as well, changing into something suitable. "Let's go then  my love, lets go to the forest by the lake."

Jungkook fiddled with the ends of his sleeves, watching Taehyung talk to Hoseok. He kept his head down, pinching the material that went past his finger tips, as he bit his lip. "Tae.. Tae can I help?" Taehyung glanced over at Jungkook, scowling. "Why the hell are you stuttering Jungkook, ever since Jin left you have just gone back to your old self...whimpering after me, pathetic. " Jungkook winced at the words and put his head down again, frowning at the floor. Taehyung shook his head at the boy, "Fucking pathetic... sorry Hyung, so yes once Jin and Namjoon come past the clearing, you have to talk to Jin...distract him so I can get Namjoon...Namjoon is tall but I'm...I'm faster and stronger." Taehyung nodded, smirking to himself as Hoseok nodded along, smiling and gave Tae an impressed look. "I'm impressed Tae, it's thought out well...and with that little rat sneaking around." He gestured to Jungkook, "We can find out exactly where Jin and Namjoon will be." Jungkook looked up at them, shuffling over. "They should be passing the clearing in the forest in about an hour, I checked." Taehyung placed a hand on Jungkook's arm, nodding at the boy and Jungkook's face broke out in a smile. This was the first time that Taehyung had touched him in a way that didn't inflict pain upon him. However this joy was short lived as his hyung rolled is eyes and shoved Jungkook "Just go and sit on the rock by the clearing." Jungkook looked down and sat on the rock, resulting back to the entertainment of playing with his sleeves.

"Namjoon put me down right now you fucking asshole!" Jin laughed and banged his fists against Namjoon back.  Namjoon just gave Jin's ass a pat and carried on walking, laughing to himself. "Kim Namjoon, if you do not put me down right now, I swear to god I will never cook for you ever again." Namjoon laughed and shook his head "You never cook for me anyway, you cooked two bowls of rice and beef last night and ate both of them! I had to eat ramen out of a cup!" Jin pouted and hit Namjoon's back again "Well I am feeding two people because YOU had to get me fucking pregnant." Namjoon put Jin down and raised an eyebrow at the boy. "So you are telling me that after this baby is born, we should never have sex again because of the risk of you getting pregnant again." Jin pouted again, slipping his hand into Namjoon's. "You know that's not what...HOBI!" Jin ran into the clearing they had just passed, greeting his friend. "Oh hey Hyung, I was just on a walk around the area.." Namjoon walked up towards the two boys, his hand in his pockets. "Well Jinnie and I were just walking to the lake, want to join us?" Namjoon was trying to make an effort with Jin's friend. Hoseok nodded and the three began to walk towards the large lake, Namjoon slinging an arm over Jin's shoulder, but Hoseok brushed it off and dragged Jin away to the waters edge. Taehyung neared up behind Namjoon, blinded by jealousy, a metal bar raised. Jungkook sprinted at him, crying as he did, pushing Tae into the water, falling in after him. There was thrashing in the strong current, Taehyung pushing Jungkook down so he could get out.

Taehyung got out.

Jungkook didn't.
