They sensed her before she even walked into the dining room. An overwhelming scent of earthly spices with an intoxicatingly feminine muskiness of cherries and rainwater.
Yet she was no where to be seen as the five Korlocke brothers stood in the fine dining room, searching for her.
Logi grinned. "I knew those demons weren't full of it about this shewolf. I just can't believe she was all the way out her in this foreign country.", he chuckled as he glanced around for the shewolf. His brows furrowed in a stubborn frown. "Why hasn't she appeared? This is boring. I can sense her but she hasn't shown herself. These demons are really trying to tease us", he pouted as he clasped both his hands behind his head, sighing yet grinning like a total idiot, while his deep brown eyes searched the crowd, curiously.
Silas, the second eldest brother, grimaced. "Isn't this a bit suspicious, though, that one of the demon kings have a female werewolf among their own kind. They've never asked for our help. Typically, we don't even talk to them but this demon king decides to tell us of her existence, which is odd", he murmured, deep in thought, as the scent became stronger.
He pushed his rimmed glasses up the bridge of his nose as his soft pale blond hair fell stubbornly in his eyes and looked over his shoulder at Ion, the third eldest of the Korlocke Brothers, liplocked to some random brunette in a heated kiss.
"Brother, you really should not act so indecent when our guest arrives. It's unsightly", Silas sighed in a disapproving tone and pulled his attention back to the crowd.
Ion laughed at his brother. He enjoyed irritating his up-tight older brother. So he ignored Silas and gave the petite brunette in his arms his full attention even though it was hard to ignore the shewolf's mesmerizing scent, playing with his mind.
"You look quite lovely in that dress, beautiful. I've never seen a woman more glamorous", Ion whispered into the blue eyed brunette's ear as he ran tender kisses from her lips all the way down her bare shoulders and hugged her closer to his warm body while he caressed her delicate face within the palms of his hands, affectionately. The brunette blushed crimson, swooning over his words as she snuggled closer into his sweet embrace, her arms wrapped around his neck as her pouting lips connected with his.
His teeth nipped at her earlobe, playfully, as she giggled, pushing away from him.
Rowan rolled his eyes at the scene his elder brother was making and slipped into the crowded dining room as groups of people chatted away and laughed while they dined on fine gourmet dishes and sipped their cocktails and martinis. He looked up at the ceiling where the chandeliers hung beautifully like exquisite pieces of art, admiring its beauty.
He let out a sigh, wondering why the hell he had to be dragged along into persuading some foreign shewolf into joining their pack. To him it was only a waste of time. Women only caused trouble just like his mother abandoned his selfless father.
"...I can't believe you, Keenan. Why can't you and Master stay the hell out of my personal life", a gruff, yet husky feminine voice grumbled in a whispered tone as Rowan caught sight of the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid eyes on as her glamorous black hair swayed stubbornly below her hips like dark soft silk while her pink pouting cupidbow lips set in a deep stubborn frown.
His heart was racing at a much more abnormal pace than usual. He thought his heart would burst as it became harder to breathe.
Everything in Rowan told him to walk over to the unknown woman and ask her for her name, yet his hands became clammy and he was froze in place as his heart began pounding so fast he thought it'd explode. That and his male pride refused to let him act like some desperate sex-crazed male for just one female he didn't even know.
