"You have approximately 30 minutes to get ready for tonight.  Is that enough time?"  Niall asks, unlocking our hotel room.

"It'll have to be."  I smirk, going over to the bag that holds the dress that is perfect for both occasions this evening.  I grab all the undergarments I need, and step into the bathroom to change and put the beautiful dress on.  I get everything adjusted correctly on the dress, and step out of the bathroom to do my hair and makeup.

Niall glances up from where he's sprawled out across the bed watching a Manchester United game that I'm surprised is on since we're in America and all.

"Damn, you look gorgeous."  He wolf-whistles before going back to the game.  I smile and shake my head as I put on my makeup and tease and straighten my hair before putting a ton of hairspray in to hold it up and putting on the jewelry to finish my outfit.

"Right on time, too."  I smile, looking at my phone, which says I have five minutes before my thirty minute mark was up.  I slide my feet into the platforms, and stand to get the feel of walking in these heels.

"Let's go, Niall."  I smile, holding out my hand to help him off the bed in his khaki pants and button up with a tie.  "You clean up nice."  I smile, taking his elbow before shutting off the lights and allowing him to lead me down the hall to the elevator.

"Will you please tell me where we're eating?"  I beg as we wait on the elevator.

"Courtney's Place."  He replies, a smile tugging on his lips.

"Never heard of it."  I frown.

"It's actually in a small town about 20 minutes outside Dallas city limits.  It's one of those Texas dime's that you hear about in stories."  He smiles again and leads me off the elevator and opens the door to the limo for me.

"Your carriage awaits, m'lady."  He acts in a very posh accent before getting in behind me and allowing the door to be closed behind him.  "Here's to tonight."  Niall smiles, grabbing a bottle of champagne out of the limo cooler and two glasses before pouring equal amounts into both of them.

"To tonight."  I smile, clinking glasses with him before taking a sip of the disgusting liquid.  20 minutes of sipping champagne and small chitchat later, we're pulling up in front of this itty-bitty place in this itty-bitty town that if I would have blinked we would have passed it.

"I've heard this is one of the best places to eat in all of Texas, so don't be afraid to order what you want."  Niall assures me, placing his hand on the small of my back as he leads me inside.

"Reservations for Horan."  He tells the little old lady at the front desk.  She checks in her notebook and smiles at Niall.

"Ah yes.  Follow me."  She waddles around the table and motions for us to follow her into the dining room where there are only about 9 tables set up.  She leads us back into one of the corner tables and leaves us.  Not a minute after she left a waiter comes baring a pitcher of water to fill the glasses on the table in front of us, but the weird thing was that the wasn't carrying any menus.

"How are we doing tonight, lovebirds?"  He asks, pouring the water.

"Would we care for some sparkling champagne or a different beverage other than water?"  Niall shakes his head.  "Well okay then.  Let me tell you what we offer, since I can see you both have different accents.  We have our lasagna which has always been a house fave, and we have chicken Alfredo, which the alfredo sauce is prepared homemade by Courtney and her family's secret recipe.  We also have a shrimp dish with a small salad on the side and we have our beef surprise."

"What's beef surprise?"  I ask, looking at the man.

"It's a blend of beef with rice and and potatoes.  All of these ingredients are blended together for the perfect difference between sweet and salty.  I'll give y'all a few minutes to think it over and I'll be back in a few minutes to take your order."  The waiter bids farewell and Niall and I look at each other.

"I don't like shrimp, so I think I'm going to go with the Chicken Alfredo."  I mention, sipping at my water.

"I think I'm going to try the beef surprise.  I mean, how bad could it be?"  He smiles, reaching for m hand across the table.

"Damn, how'd I get so lucky to be with you?"  He asks, rubbing the back of my hand.

"You're just talented all around, love."  I smile, squeezing his hand.  As soon as the waiter comes back, we order our food, and he promises it'll be out as soon as possible.

"I missed you so much, Heather.  You don't know what that breakup did to me.  It really tore me apart inside, and I wasn't the same.  Just ask any of the guys or anybody at our concerts for those three weeks in there.  I didn't put any effort into performing, and I'm pretty sure I only willingly took three showers."  Niall chuckles, grinning across the table at me.

"That's disgusting, Niall!"  I exclaim quietly, making sure I don't bother any tables around us.

"That's what you do to me, Heather!  You make me insane on the inside!"  He exclaims back.

"I just want you to know that those were some of the hardest weeks of my life, too.  Between our breakup and the whole thing with Dad, my life was a mess right then.  The only really good thing that came out of it was that I reconnected with my old best friend from freshman year, Candice."  I smile, thinking about the dark headed girl.

"I'll have to meet her sometime." Niall smiles, and holds my hand across the table.

"Once we get back to England, I'll definitely introduce you two."  I grin.

"Oh, that reminds me.  My cousin is getting married sometime after the tour is over, and I was wondering if you'd want to come.  You know, that way I can have a date and you get to meet my family."  Niall asks, studying my face.

"I'd love to."  I reply, a happy grin stretching across my face.

"I think you're going to love them, and I know they're going to love you."  I glance past him and see the waiter already bringing our food.  He sets the big plate of Chicken Alfredo in front of me, and the plate of beef surprise in front of Niall.

My Alfredo smells absolutely amazing, and I immediately dig in.  The chicken melts in my mouth, and the noodles are completely to die for.  I think I may have found my new favorite restaurant.  After we eat in silence for a few minutes, I decide to reach across the table and take a bite of Niall's beef surprise.

"How is it?"  I ask, stabbing my fork into one of the slices of meat and grabbing several vegetables on the plate.

"Not bad, I just wish they didn't have so much green stuff on here."  He sighs, picking out green peppers and broccoli.

"You're so weird."  I laugh, spinning more noodles onto my fork and lifting it to my mouth.  I thought the beef surprise was actually really good, but definitely not better than my Alfredo.
