Two days later, Niall and I are giving hugs to all the boys, minus Liam, who already headed back to his home with Danielle, and their girlfriends, before we board our plane to Ireland.  "Text us when you land, so we know you got there safe."  Eleanor pleads as she wraps me in a very tight hug.

"Of course!  You'll be the first one I text."  I promise, and squeeze her just as tightly as she's squeezing me.  Sarah and Perrie both give me hugs before releasing me and allowing me to pick my bags up.  Several people around the airport are staring, and the few that recognize the boys are snapping pictures on their phones, but so far no paparazzi have shown their faces or their cameras.

Niall and I wave goodbye to our friends after they call for first class boarding, and we hand the lady our tickets and board the small plane to take us to New York and then to our connecting flight to Dublin.  The first class seats are a lot nicer than the coach seats, and they allow me to curl my legs up and rest my head on Niall's shoulder after we have our seatbelts on, and our bags stowed for takeoff.

It's just a short two-hour flight from Dallas to New York, so I don't plan on sleeping much, but it's nice just to rest for a while.  Niall takes my hand and studies it while everyone else on the plane boards.  I smile and press my lips into his t-shirt clad shoulder.

"I love you."  I whisper, and replace my temple where it previously rested.

"I can't believe that I lost you once."  Niall murmurs against the palm of my hand.

"That was my fault, and I'm never going to make that mistake again."  I answer, and he leans over and gently kisses me.

"It was both of our faults."  He decides, and holds my hand between both of his on his lap as we taxi away from the gate.

"Will you tell me about your family?"  I ask, once we're successfully in the air.

"My mum, Maura, is about the most bubbly person in the world.  She loves everybody, and it takes a whole lot to make her angry.  She loves baking and taking pictures, so expect to have your picture taken multiple times while we stay there."  Niall chuckles, and I smile, picturing Niall's mum.

"My dad, Bobby, is pretty much the exact opposite.  He has a short fuse on his temper, and is a very quiet person.  He'd never physically hurt anything but maybe a spider, and he loves football (soccer).  If he's watching a game, you better not even suggest changing the channel."  Niall laughs again as he talks about his dad.

"We're going to stay the majority of the time with Greg and Denise, so I can spend time with Theo.  Greg's favorite thing in the world to do is play pranks; so don't be surprised if there is a whoopee-cushion under a chair or a popper attached to the door when we get there.  Denise is so sweet, I know you two are going to get along well."  Niall's grin doubles, and his eyes light up as he talks about his brother.  I know they've been really close ever since he was little and his parents split up.  He talks some more about his family, and I love the way his smile reaches his eyes when he talks about them.

Before I know it, the plane is already descending into JFK, and we're unloading.  Niall carries my carry on for me, being the gentleman he is, and together we find our next gate.  We have to switch terminals for international flights, but as soon as we find the right one, our gate is pretty much easy to find.  We get some cheesy-bacon fries along the way, and sit down in two open seats at our gate.

"Niall, I think you have some fans."  I smile, and nod my head to the two young girls sitting across the aisle, and down a few chairs from us.  He looks up at waves at the two girls who can't be older than 13.  They quietly shriek to themselves, and giggle while flipping through a magazine together.

"Go ask to take a picture with them."  I urge, loving seeing him with his fans.  Niall rolls his eyes, smiles at me, and walks over to them.

"Hi. I'm Niall Horan.  What's your name?"  He asks in that perfect Irish accent I've grown to love.

"Mandy, and this is Shauna."  One of them answers.

"Would Mandy and Shauna like to take a picture?"  He asks, and their faces both drain of all color as they nod.  He looks over at me and beckons for me to join him.  "Whose phone is the picture going to be on?"  He asks, and Mandy shakily hands me her phone, which is a lot more fancy than mine.  I manage to find the camera app, and the two girls scoot apart and Niall sits in the middle of them with his arms around their shoulders.

"Say cheese!" I smile for them as I'm snapping the picture, and both girls put on their biggest smiles.

"Oh my gosh, thank you so much Niall.  You have no idea how much this means to us.  We love you so much."  Shauna finds her voice, and Niall gives both of them hugs.

"I love you guys, too."  He answers.

"And Heather.  You're so gorgeous, and perfect.  I wish I were you.  I love your hair and your style is always so pretty, and so many girls follow your for your fashion.  You and Niall are so cute together."  Shauna continues to gush and asks if she can give me a hug.

"Well thank you, honey.  But don't wish you are me, because you're perfect just the way you are.  You've got your own unique style, and I'm sure many girls are jealous of the way you look."  I smile as I give her the hug.  I step back beside Niall to find him grinning down in an adorable way at me.

"Stop staring, you big goof."  I laugh, and gently push at his torso.

"We better go, I think we're getting ready to board.  Have fun in Ireland girls!"  Niall gives them both hugs one more time, before leading me back to our bags that haven't been disturbed.

"I love watching you with your fans."  I tell him as I snuggle into his side.

"You're pretty good with them, too, you know."  He replies, rubbing my arm.

"I'm pretty sure she's the first fan that has actually liked me as your girlfriend.  Unless she was faking, which she very well could be."  I laugh quietly.

"She was definitely not faking.  She was totally in awe of you.  She didn't even ask me for a hug."  Niall slightly pouts, and I poke his stomach.

"You know what?  They're boarding.  Let's go."  I decide, and grab my bag, which Niall swiftly takes from me.  I glare at him for a minute before grabbing both of our tickets out of it, and handing him his.  We join the long line of people waiting in line, but as soon as we reach the lady checking us in, the line moves pretty fast.

"I think we're in the upper deck."  I tell Niall, studying my ticket.

"That's usually where first class is on these flights."  He says as he leads me on the plane and the flight attendant directs us to a small stairwell that we climb.  Our seats are near the front, and we quickly settle into the much roomier seats than the last flight.

"You've got 9 hours of sleep, if you'd like it."  Niall says, making himself comfy in the chair beside me.

"We'll see.  I might sleep some of it."  I decide, leaning on him and using him as my pillow.
