Hunter's POV
Max will be home in a few minutes. I was paranoid all day about my dad. Then I heard yelling. I heard footsteps coming upstairs. I could hear my heart beating fast. I locked the door and backed away from it. The person banged on the door. Then they kicked the door in.
"Here's Daddy".
I tried to run but he grabbed my arm roughly.
"I've been looking all over for you, we're going home and once we do I'm gonna-".
"You're gonna do what"?
Max!
"Hit him, just do it right here, right now".
I hate you.
"Go ahead, the police are right downstairs and the second you hit him the second I go down there and get them, your choice".
My dad let go of me and went up to Max.
"This isn't over".
"You're right it isn't".
My dad stormed out.
