"Come on,up! Everyone up! Up, now! I won't have you lazy kids staying in bed so you don't do your chores! The house needs to be spotless to get ready for the party" Matron Peters yelled, hitting the bottom of a frying pan with a wooden spoon in order to wake up all the childeren. Unfortunately, I had to get up too, everyone has to do their part here, birthday or not.
Groaning, I rolled out of bed, pulled a blanket round my shoulders so I didn't have to walk out my room in just my panties, and peeked my head out into the corridor, where I saw that many other childeren had done the same.
"Please, carry on enlightening us with your screaming and musical talent matron," a boy named Chris muttered sarcastically,"I'm sure there's some people about sixty two miles away who didn't hear you." He was rewarded with extreme pain as matron slapped him and dragged him to the cupboard where he stayed for the rest of the day.

I was in the lounge with a fake grin on my face, trying to convince everyone that I simply LOVED the used pencil I got as a birthday present when someone knocked on the door. Jenny and Matron Peters ran out of the room. When they returned, they were both scowling. Someone from the government had come to ask if my soulmates name had appeared yet. Matron and Jenny scowled at me. They obviously wanted this whole thing to be over with so they wouldn't have to make so much of an effort for the whole day.
They sent us up to bed early, which was outrageous because it was only 6:00. I was in my room, watching my favorite Dan and Phil video on my cheap phone that didn't hold its battery properly when it happened.
The room started spinning. I carefully got up from my bed but instantly fell onto the floor. All I can remember doing next was crying for help.
Then everything went dark.
