"BOY YOU BELONG TO MEEEE! I'VE GOT THE RECIPE AND IT'S CALLED BLACK MAGIC!" The four lanky lads sung as they drove towards the coast of California. The lads had the long weekend off and they should take this chance to rent a beach house. Their management organised it and now they were on the way to the beautiful Californian beach.

"Oi Mike." Calum called, snapping the now blue haired lad from his Little Mix trance.

"Wha'daya want?" Michael asked, turning in his seat to face the bassist.

"What would you call your powers? Magic?" Calum questioned innocently. Michael turned back around, a sour expression on his face. "What did I do?"

"I don't think he wants to be asked about his powers. If you'd just told us that you had some thing that you'd been hiding from us for the whole time we've known each other, would you want it to be brought up all the time? Would you want to be treated differently?" Ashton queried, not looking away from the road, turning the radio down.

"I guess not." Calum admitted, looking down at his lap. "Sorry Mike."

"It's okay, just please don't ask questions about it yet. I'm still getting used to the fact that you guys know about it. But to answer your question, I call them powers." Michael replied.

"Cool. I won't ask anymore questions." Calum responded. The radio was turned back up and the lads kept singing to every song that came on. Soon, they arrived at the beach house and everyone was rushing in to pick the best room. Michael sped ahead of everyone and claimed the room on the ground floor with a view of the private beach they had also reserved for their own enjoyment.

"No fair!" Luke whined as he came up behind Michael, entering the room he had wanted.

"I won fair and square, Lukey. You'll just have to go get a different room." Michael laughed. Luke huffed and turned on his heel, leaving the room. Michael got to work unpacking. Well, chucking his suitcase in a corner of the room and flopping down on the bed. He soon fell asleep, he was just exhausted from that car ride.

"MICHAEL! WAKE UP YOU IDIOT! WE'RE GOING SWIMMING!" Luke's voice woke him up a few hours later, jumping on his bed. Michael groaned and sat up, pushing his offending bandmate off of the bed.

"Do I have to come?" Michael whined, his voice slightly rough from his sleep.

"Yes. It is extremely important that you are there in the water with us." Luke insisted, standing up. Michael groaned and went over to his suitcase, pulling out a pair of board shorts and a towel. He pushed Luke out of the room and got changed. Once he was finished, he left his room and walked to the living room, where Calum was waiting.

"Hey Mike, you ready?" Calum asked.

"Yeah, where are Ash and Luke?" Michael questioned.

"Down on the beach setting up, now come on." Calum opened the door and the two rushed out of the house, running down the steps onto the beach. They ran all the way over to Lashton, who had set up some towels and beach umbrellas, as well as an esky for drinks. Once they arrived and put their spare towels down, all four of the lads raced down to the water. They recoiled slightly at the coolness of the waves, but were soon in the water and having a great time.

"BOOYAH!" Luke popped out of a wave from nowhere, spreading his limbs mid-air in order to firmly attach himself to Ashton's back.

"HOLY FU-" Ashton wasn't even afforded the ability to finish his exclamation before his blonde friend's weight made him fall over into the water.

"LUKE!" Calum was less than pleased, he rushed over to where the two boys were struggling, and pulled Luke off of Ashton's back.

"Calum," Luke mocked, looking rather upset that his fun had been cut short. He pouted and waded back to the shallower water where Michael was standing.

"Poor thing," Michael laughed, but allowed the tall boy to cuddle up next to him and tuck his head in the side of his neck.

"He's the poor thing? I think I inhaled half the ocean," Ashton spluttered, he was hacking out plenty of water that he had accidentally breathe. Michael shrugged in response, patting Luke's back awkwardly.

"Do you want something to drink Ash?" Calum asked softly, looking at the drummer in worry as Ashton continued to cough.

"Do you really think drinking water is going to help him cough out water?" Michael giggled.

Calum's expression further soured, "well what's your idea Sherlock?" He snapped at the guitarist, making Michael visibly flinch at the harsh tone.

Ashton shook his head and coughed one more time, "it's not Michael's fault. I think I'm okay now but my throat kinda hurts so water would be nice," Ashton the mediator struck again as he soothed both Michael and Calum.

"Okay Ashton," they all agreed as Calum wrapped an arm under the drummer's shoulder to help him walk.

It was unnecessary and they all knew it but they just let Calum baby Ashton because that made him happy.

While the two of them passed Michael and Luke, and neither of them moved to go with, Ashton gestured them forward, "you guys too. A little bit of hydration is good after messing around in salt water."

Michael and Luke mumbled agreements and followed behind. It was a short walk up the beach and to the back porch of the house. Calum popped the doorwall open, and the four boys made their way into the house.

In order to get to the kitchen, they had to walk through the living room and down the hall. Naturally they began to do so without question, following the still tangled together Ashton and Calum.

As they entered the living room none of them noticed anything out of place until they passed by the couches.

"Hello boys. I trust you had a good swim?" They all screamed and jumped right up in the air as a voice called out to them. Michael was barely able to keep his powers in check and stop himself from shocking the living daylights out of Luke.

His head whipped over in the direction of the intruder's voice. There, perched on the edge of the couch very politely, was a woman with bleached blonde hair, wearing a nice blue dress. She smiled sweetly at Michael, not really looking at the other boys.

"Who are you?!" Luke demanded, squatting down so he could hide behind Michael.

"It's the illuminati! I told you they'd come!" Calum hissed at his friends.

"I'm not from the illuminati Calum," the woman looked rather amused.

"That's what someone from the illuminati would say!"
