♡ Think of something. Make up things in your head, it will help you sleep faster ( I normally make up harry potter fics in my head )
♡ Keep Your room dark, bright lights can trick your brain into thinking it's too early in the day to sleep.
♡ Make yourself comfortable ( an obvious one ). Avoid uncomfortable clothes, wear baggy clothing and remove hair bobbles . Be sure to use the bathroom before you go to sleep.
♡ DON'T wear socks to bed ( seriously who can sleep with socks on , satan?)
♡ Adjust your pillows ( make sure their soft not hard like my soul ). Ideally , you want to sleep so that your neck is in a straight line.
♡ Reduce unwanted noise. Listen to sounds from nature ( don"t listen to water it makes you need to pee ). If anyone who you live with snores like a demon i reccomend earplugs.
♡ Read a book . Reading ( physical not electronic) books can reduce stress and helps your mind to unwind. Avoid horror or books with suspense as they may do the opposite.
♡ Turn off all electronics. The bright screens keep your mind awake . Give them to your parents ( put a password on the device so they cant snoop ) if you dont trust yourself.
♡ Drink hot milk . Avoid caffeine at all costs.
♡ Put lavender on your pillow , it does not only help you sleep but it smells hella nice and is stress relieving .
