If it stared me in the eye
I'd walk right past it
Even if it fell from the sky!
Roses make me itch
Candies make me squirm
Hugs make me awkward
Feelings of butterflies and worms.
All this talk of metals and magnets,
Did I miss a class on Metallurgy?
Everyone's an expert
In Physics, Chemistry and Biology!
In love an athlete would I be?
Fly to the moon?
Catch the stars?
Go to the depths of sea?
Would I know love?
If it stared me in the eye.
Would I walk right past it?
If it fell from the sky.
