7: Fear

JJ pov:
Wow! Senior year went by too fast.. I received my official cap and gown today. That means graduation in a few days. Thank god it's Friday. Next thursday our class graduates. Y/N gets to sit beside me, so I am pretty happy about that. Tonight I have to meet with my fellow weirdos to discuss video ideas. I invite Y/N and we both go over. We make our way into the living room to chill and discuss. As I turn the corner Bridget and a face I didn't quite recognize where sitting on the couch cuddling.
"OHHHH! Bridgy has a girlfriendddddd"

I couldn't help myself.. Ok ?

"Shut up JJ!"

She uses the same childish tone as I do. We laugh it off. The girl sitting beside her looked like she had been abused her light bruises and scratches showed it. My heart broke a little bit for her.

"Hello, my name is JJ or Jess/John. And yours?"

"Her name is Lynx."
Bridget says.

"That's quite the beautiful name."
I shake her hand politely.
"This is Y/N.. (she/he) is a very nice person.. They can be a bit shy at times."

Y/N pov:
You blush a little bit at JJ's comment about me being shy. You wave a small wave to Lynx. You have this strong feeling that you had met Lynx before. It showed in her eyes that she knew you somehow. As the night progresses we talk about videos and come up with a cmv idea. All the sudden.. A number that is calling flashes on my home screen.
CALL:
Voice: Is this Y/N?

Y/N: who is this?

Voice: It's Mckenna JJ's ex

Y/N: How'd you get my number?

Mckenna: Doesn't matter. If you don't get your hands off them by graduation I promise you will never see them again..

Y/N: bu-

-END CALL-
"Who was that?"
JJ asks curiously.
"Uh.. I-I think it was Mckenna.. Your ex.."
You feel a feeling that you have to vomit. You feel extremely fearful and paranoid.
JJ sees you start to anxiously shake. You feel a panic attack coming on. You run out of the room and into a dark hallway. JJ chases you and catches you. All the sudden they hug you. You feel your heartbeat slow and your breathing go down slightly. Your panic turns into whimpers. JJ holds you.
"It's all going to be alright. I promise I'll never leave your side."
They whisper on your neck causing a chill down your spine. They rub your back in a calming motion and place a soft kiss on your lips. You blush as you feel the sensation..
