"This particular girl isn't the type to have your expectations," Zen says, causing Haruka to scoff. "Your Highness, it's naive to think such people exist!," he defends. "I just wonder if someone like that would pose a problem," Zen says, putting down the book.

"If someone meets that description, please introduce me to them so I can eat my words," Haruka says. "Well, you just missed her, unfortunately, " Zen continues, fighting to stay calm, "You were too busy being judgmental.

A look of shock crosses Haruka's face and he tries to come up with another excuse. "Your Highness! I didn't come here today to play some ridiculous games with you!" Zen smiles. "And yet everything you say is ridiculous. You may leave."

The blond clenches his fist, bowing his head and saying, "Very well then." He turns around, making his way out the door. "I pray you will see the truth, before it's too late to rectify the damage. Good day." "By the way, sir," Zen says right before Haruka leaves, "I believe you just insulted a princess."

Shocked, Haruka says nothing and closes the door, walking away. Zen drops his hunched figure in exhaustion and he walks away, telling Kiki that he needed some fresh air. "I'm going for a walk outside," he added.

"That prince! I can't believe him! There's nothing I can say to change his mind either. He's so stubborn. Looks like we have no choice but to go over his head," Haruka says in anger, leaning on a pillar. Close to him, a crouched figure laid in a tree, taking out a blade. "Yes, sir," he said, disappearing quickly.

Akemi's POV

"How is it possible for us to get lost if I spent years growing up in this castle," I groaned, nudging Shirayuki to make sure she wasn't blanked out.

"You know, you probably should've just stayed home," I said. "I know," Shirayuki says, "I just wanted to check up on you, since you didn't come back for so long." I laugh. "Thanks for finding me."

"This plant looks similar to the Shirinagi plant but the leaves are different. I should check the encyclopedia." She looked to me, crouching down and I dug inside the bag, finding only a drawing book. "Ah, crap. I must've left it inside."

The sky becomes darker, clouds covering up the Sun and putting a dark shadow over us.

[With the Guards]

"What?! We can't let Shirayuki or Akemi through anymore?!," the brunette said, "On who's orders?" "You must have it wrong! They both have permission to enter anytime as guests of the Prince," the blonde defended.

"That order's been cancelled," the cat eyed stranger said. "What?! Says who?!," the blond says, shocked. The stranger shoves a piece of paper in front of them. "It's a directive from the Prince himself regarding the girls named Shirayuki and Akemi. In light of the opinions of my retainers, these girls will hereafter be expressly forbidden from entering the palace."

"No way," the brunette mumbles. "Please respect that this was a difficult decision for the Prince," the stranger says, rolling up the paper and putting his arms to his sides, "Don't make it any harder for him. Good day."

He bows his head and walks off. "Hey wait a second," the brunette says, "You should probably tell the Prince something. We just let Shirayuki through and Akemi never came back." "You what?!," the yellow eyed person said. "It was only a moment before you arrived though."

I grab Shirayuki's arm and tug her with me as I rush over the back doors, opening it and running inside with Shirayuki close behind me.
