The Rogue

=[Chapter 1]=

~Dinolight's POV~

I was walking along what seemed to be an infinite road. I hadn't seen any cars in a long while so I decided it'd be nice to walk. Granted my alt-mode is absolutely stunning, but a femme's gotta stretch her legs every now and again. I soon hear an engine and see bright lights fly past me, a small flash flickers from the window of the vehicle.

What does that mean?

~3rd Person POV~

After Dinolight ponders for a moment about the small light, she transforms to her alt-mode and speeds off behind the car, following it to wherever it is headed. Meanwhile, at Team Prime's base, Rafael is searching the web to be sure no one was spotted by civilians during their patrols that day. Nothing had come up until he refreshes the page. A picture of Dinolight has just been posted.

"Hey, Ratchet," Raf called. Ratchet waved his servo.

"I'm busy," he stated, not turning from his work. Jack sat next to the small boy.

"Who's that?" He asks as he curiously looks at the photo.

"I don't know, I was hoping Ratchet knew but he's too busy," Raf explained as Bumblebee approaches. "Hey, Bee! Do you know who this is?" Raf shows the picture to Bee. His face shows surprise and he runs over to Optimus, rapidly tapping his shoulder and whirring to him.

"What is it, Bumblebee?" Optimus asks. Bee whirs and Optimus shows concern as he walks over to see the picture. "Ratchet, search the frequencies for another Cybertronian."

"Decepticon or autobot?" Ratchet asks as he starts to fidget with the frequencies.

"Neither," Optimus says intensely.

~Dinolight's POV~

As I quickly follow the car, I pass a sign that reads 'Jasper, Nevada'.

This must be my location.

I pull off the road and speed into the desert, the small town still in sight. I transform to my dino-form and let out an ear-piercingly loud roar.

Woo! Been waiting to get that one out!

My thoughts are interrupted by a ground bridge opening in front of me. I transform to my alt-mode and speed away. Soon a yellow muscle car quickly chases after me. Behind it is a motorcycle, an armored truck, and an eighteen-wheeler. The muscle car speeds up and cuts me off, staying in front of me no matter where I turn. The stomping of something big can be heard from behind me and before I know it I'm lifted off the ground by a giant blue metallic arm.

"Put me down and I'll spare you," I threaten. He does nothing.

"Who are you?" A small blue femme walks up to me and the big bot who's got a tight grip.

"Funny, I was about to ask the same. Can somebody make him put me down?" I ask demandingly.

"Not till you answer our questions," the blue femme responds.

"I'll give you five seconds to put me down,"

"Please, everyone calm down," the green mech starts.

"Five!" I call out before transforming to my Dino-form, causing the bot to drop me. I'm surrounded by several bots and soon I notice the autobot symbol on the green bot's forearm. I calm myself and transform to my Cybertronian form. "Oh... autobots," I chuckle. "So what, is Megatron here too?" I ask sassily. "You people are like children. Always fighting. You should embrace the fact Cybertron's gone dark! Explore like I have!"

~3rd Person POV~

As Dinolight continues to reply with sassy remarks, the decepticons have also picked up her signal.

"Knockout!" Megatron calls. Knockout rushes to Megatron's side.

"Yes, my liege?" He bows.

"Take a few vehicons and see who this is. Soundwave will ground bridge you their location," Megatron explains.

"Yes sir," Knockout walks off to find Soundwave followed by several vehicons. Once approaching Soundwave, he had already pinpointed the coordinates of the mystery bot and the ground bridge appears before them.

~Dinolight's POV~

Suddenly another ground bridge opens and a bunch of dark purple cars drive through it led by a stunning red sports car. I turn to them as they transform.

"A-autobots?" The red one asks panicked. His panic leaves and is replaced by an evil smirk. "Take them out."

Suddenly everyone starts firing at each other. A blast nearly takes my helm off.

"That's it!" I transform to my Dino-form and pounce onto the red bot, knocking him over.

"Hey! Hey! Watch the finish!" He gripes angrily. I see no emblem on him anywhere. I transform and though the mech could easily get me off, he doesn't.

"You are to answer every question I have or I'll scratch your beautiful finish in the places you can't reach by yourself!" He seems threatened by what I said. "What's your name, Hotshot?"

"Knockout, and you?" He seems to give a flirtatious look.

"Dinolight," I say seriously. "Who sent you?"

"The dark lord himself," he gives a smug smirk. I hear a troubled whir and I turn to see the yellow bot being restrained by two identical purple ones.

"Stay here. I mean it," I tell Knockout as I transform and dash to save the bot. I catch one proble purple mech in my jaws and crush it easily, but before I can turn to the other, it's already driving away. I see Knockout getting to his pedes and I transform as I walk over to him. "Going somewhere?"

"Well I wasn't just going to lie there," he replies with a smirk. I gently punch his shoulder.

"I like you, kid. I'll see you around," as I say this I transform to my alt-mode and speed off past the autobots who all watched in awe as I drove away.

~3rd Person POV~

"She with you?" Knockout asks as he watches Dinolight speed away. She is fast. He wonders who might win in a race between her, Bumblebee, and himself.

"I'm afraid not," Optimus answers, turning to face the lone con.

"I did not see that coming," Bulkhead says with surprise.

"Since when were dinobots able to transform into cars, Optimus?" Arcee questions.

"I do not know," Optimus answers.

"A rogue dinobot that is more evolved than the rest?  Now this is interesting," Knockout looks to the prime who faces him. "I'd love to chat but I must be leaving. Soundwave, bridge me back," soon the decepticon ground bridge appears and Knockout walks through.

"Ratchet, we need a ground bridge."
