=[Chapter 10]=

~Dinolight's POV~

I spring up off a berth in what seems to be the med bay on the decepticon warship. I look around the room to see Knockout, Breakdown, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Soundwave.

No Grimlock...

I rip off the contraptions that had been attached to me and run out of the room. All I want is to be away from everyone. My brother is stuck in some sort of in-between and there's nothing I can do to help him... to save him.

I find an empty room, transform, and lay down. I let the lubricant flow freely as I remember how ignorant I was when I first saw Grimlock. I wanted to play fight like we had when we were sparklings. I didn't listen to what he had to say. I didn't hug him tightly. I transformed and fought.

The door to the room I'm in opens and I become a hostile monster. I don't bother to see who it is. I attack. I screech loudly before swatting the bot away with my tail, knocking him into the wall opposite of my empty room. The doors shut as I sit down and stare at nothing.

~3rd Person POV~

As Dinolight isolates herself, she thinks more of what she should've done during her time with her long lost brother. Knockout gets up from the ground and looks back at the dent in the wall, caused by Dinolight swatting him into it. He then turns back to the door.

What happened to you?

Knockout decides to use their bond. He figures that would be the safest way to communicate with her.

Go away, Knockout.

I'm just going to keep asking. You might as well tell me.

I saw my brother. He saved me. I can't save him. Will you leave me alone now?

And why couldn't you save him?

If I brought him back with me then he'd just be floating in space. Too far for me to go on my own. Cybertron's rebirth is the only thing that will save him and you autobot and decepticon fools are the only thing in the way!

You're not going to fight us, are you?

What's the point? You can decode the iacon data and I can't. If I picked you off now I'd never be able to save him. You're both in the way and the only thing that can help me.

I see...

"Lord Megatron! I highly suggest you do not go in there!" Dinolight hears this faintly though the closed doors in front of her. She gets to her pedes and readies to swat another fly.

"And why is that, Knockout?" Megatron asks. Knockout steps to the side and reveals the dent in the wall with hints of red paint making it obvious that was Knockout who caused the damage.

"She's not seeing anyone at the moment," Knockout tells him. "May I have a word with you?" He asks as he walks a small ways away from the door to ensure Dinolight can't hear them.

"What do you want?" Megatron asks with slight annoyance.

"She said she saw her brother and that she couldn't save him. She's not happy, my Liege. I fear she's had a bad dream and believes it was real," Knockout explains.
