~Dinolight's POV~

I fly just above the ground, Wheeljack had fallen into recharge and seeing as it's the late hours of the night, I can't blame him. I want to recharge desperately but I can't. I need to find somewhere we can search for some spare parts for the Jackhammer. I figure a junkyard would do but it'd help if I could find one. I flap my wings to gain some altitude so I could have a better view.

A road finally appears in the distance and I quickly fly above it, following it as if it were telling me it'd lead me to what I'm looking for. I feel the warm spot on my back go cold as Wheeljack wakes up. It's moments like these I wish normal Cybertronians could speak the language of the beasts.

I turn my head back to him and squawk. I had caught him mid-stretch. He lowers his arms after a few more seconds looks forward before looking down at me. A smirk makes its way to his face as he set his servos back down on my shoulder plates. He uses one servo to pat my shoulder and I respond with some sort of purr. Even I am unsure of what noise I had just made but he knows it was something to show my happiness.

"How long was I out?" He questions. His voice is never anything but calm and mischievous sounding. He is a mech I enjoy being around.

This new body proves its use and shows an amazing look. The wings I have are stretched with some sort of fleshy material with the galaxy print as its design. The beak on my face is black as the rest of my body was chrome and reflecting the sunlight beautifully. It is truly a sight to behold.

I suddenly hear the flapping of wings behind me. I look behind me to see the Predacon from Megatron's warship. I veer away from the road and fly far enough to know I could land him without destroying the human's road. I land and transform to my land-Dino form, the Tyrannosaurus-Rex. Wheeljack managed to stay on my back till I leaned down, signaling for him to dismount. As soon as he was off I planted my pede beside him, keeping him under my massive body, except this time he wasn't stuck and I am perfectly functional.

"Stand down," I command.

"My master has ordered me to take out the autobot you protect," he explains.

"I am your master when I am present. You, as a predacon, should know this," I become agitated quickly in his presence.

"I do not wish to return empty handed."

"Then you will not be returning at all. I command you to stand down!"

"I will not follow your command!" As he says this, he launches at me. I roar loudly before charging. I blow the frozen air in the beast's face and bite down just below his helm. He's helpless.

"You lack the skills of a true predacon," I bite down harder, drawing energon from his neck. "You should be ashamed. A true predacon could have beat me yet here we are again. I command you to stand," I bite harder and force his helm closer to the ground. "Down," I drive his helm into the dirt.

"I yield..." he whispers. "I will return for him. When you are not present he will be mine."

"You are nothing more than a coward," as I say this, I let go of him with a growl. He backs off and takes flight in the opposite direction. Away from me and more importantly, away from Jackie.

"You weren't kiddin' when you said they were back!" I can tell he's full of surprise as he approaches me. Yet his voice still has the calm and collected tone I am familiar with. I turn to him with an unreadable emotion.

I wasn't sure whether to be scared of the predacon's threat, happy I had once again put the beast in his place, or frustrated that he so willingly obeyed Shockwave's command to the point he'd turn on me already.
