(Ohm's POV)

"What do you mean, not alone?" I asked, worry seeping into my voice. I got no response.

"Luke! Luke answer me!" I shouted into the phone, my panic beginning to seep in. However, the other end was silent.

"God dammit!" I shouted, throwing my phone onto the couch. I began to pace around the room, attempting to come up with any idea as to what he was talking about. Nogla quickly got up after I did.

"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked watching me. I glanced at him and sighed.

"I think they found your friend," I started, but Nogla cut me off before I could finish.

"Well, that's great! What're ye so worked up about?"

"That's the problem, Nogla. Apparently the found your friend, but they didn't just find your friend. It sounded like they encountered something other than just him. What if they're in danger? I've got to go out and find them." I was already making my way towards the door. Just as I was about to leave, Nogla stopped me.

"Hey, hold up. I think I just heard yer phone go off," he said, moving to hand the phone to me. I grabbed it out of his hand and immediately went to my messages. It was Luke.

'Hey, we're on our way back, don't worry. But we've got something that you need to see.' It read. I sighed. At least they were ok. But what on Earth could he possibly want to show me? Oh, I was going to kill them when they got back.

I continued the pace as we waited for them to return, which seemed to annoy Nogla.

"'ey man, chill out. They said they'd be 'ere soon, so stop being all antsy." He said. I blew out a puff of air. I knew he was right, but that didn't stop me from worrying. I glanced out the window, which caused me to see the group just coming out from the trees and entering the clearing. They seemed...off about something. I wasn't bothering about that at the moment though. I ran out of the warehouse and met them halfway, all of them stopping in silence once they saw me. I did a once over, sighing in relief when I didn't see any injuries.

"What on Earth happened?" I exclaimed, "Oh, I knew I shouldn't have let you guys go out. It's too dangerous. I can't believe I let you go out there, I should've expected something like this! What did you guys get caught up with? Did anyone get hurt?" Everything that was in my head just flew out of my mouth in a constant string, not stopping. The others looked at each other and then back at me. They were acting a lot weirder than they normally did. What exactly did happen?

"Look, Ohm, we're fine. Yeah, we ran into some trouble but we're alright now," Luke started.

"And what trouble did you run into?" I questioned. Everyone seemed reluctant to answer. Finally, I heard a voice from the back answer.

"It was a Metum, they were attacked by a Metum, but I took care of it." I froze at the sound of the voice, my eyes widening. There was no way, no possible way that it could be the same person. Then the person that had spoken pushed through the guys, stopping in front of me. My breath caught.

"Bryce?" my voice came out a whisper. I was shocked, stunned, maybe not even quite that. There seemed to be no words for how I was filling in that moment. There was no doubt about it in my mind; Bryce was standing right in front of me, living and breathing. But how? How was that possible? I watched as Bryce narrowed his eyes.

"Ok, I'm starting to get annoyed. What's with you people and knowing my name? I don't know who any of you are, and I want answers now," he spoke, and his words made me freeze once again. He didn't remember? How could he not remember? I looked towards Luke, but he held an unreadable expression, while the others just looked upset. No. Not again. I won't allow any of us to be like we were the first time. And if that meant that I had to hide all feeling, then so be it.

I looked into Bryce's eyes, though he couldn't see mine with the cloth over them. They were so familiar and yet at the same time, so different. They were the same sparkling blue that I fell in love with, and yet at the same time, there seemed to be something hidden there, something much tougher than the Bryce that I used to know. He had definitely changed, I was sure of that, but maybe there was something still there. A remnant of the Bryce that we lost. I took in a deep breath.

"Of course. Come inside, you'll get your answers," I kept my voice as professional as possible, before turning to another person that was with the group that I hadn't seen before.

"And I'm guessing you're Lui?" I asked. The boy nodded, "You come too, Nogla is waiting for you inside." Lui instantly ran towards the door of the warehouse, and everyone slowly but surely followed. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned, noticing that Luke was giving me a worried look. I just shrugged it off and kept walking.

When we entered the warehouse, the first thing I noticed was Lui hanging onto Nogla; it almost reminded me of a monkey.

"Thank you, guys, so much!" he shouted in an abnormally high voice, almost like a squeaker. I chuckled slightly.

"You're very welcome, and you are welcome to stay for as long as you'd like" I told them. They both nodded, and then I turned to Bryce.

"So," I began, "it's getting kind of late, so if you would like, you can stay the night and then tomorrow we can give you the answers you want." He seemed skeptical at first, but eventually nodded his head.

"Alright. Hey Mini!" I called. Mini looked over from his spot near the couches.

"Yes Ohm?" he asked.

"Could you take Bryce here to his room. You know the one." Mini gave me a look, but nodded.

"This way, Bryce," he said and led him up the stairs. I sighed, looking at the ground.

"Hey Ohm, could you come here for a second?" Luke called from the kitchen. I made my way over.

"Yes," my voice came out low and dejected.

"Do you really think it's a good idea to tell Bryce everything?" he asked. I thought about it.

"I mean, yeah, he deserves to know. I promised to give him answers."

"Maybe, but I don't think you should tell him everything just yet. First off, don't you think it'd be a bit of a shock if you were to say that we watched him die and that he shouldn't be alive right now? Second, maybe if you only tell him some things, then it might jog his memory. Get him to remember us. It's worth a shot, don't you think?" I thought about it. On one hand, it wouldn't be very fair if we held back information from Bryce, who seemed genuinely upset about not knowing, but on the other, Luke had a point. There was a chance that we could jog his memory, and if he stayed, we may be able to figure what happened and why he was alive.

"Ugh, you're right. I'll figure out what I'll tell him tomorrow." Luke nodded his head and left. I groaned and rubbed my hands over my face. How was I going to get through this?
