When the light goes dim
I wish the person next to me was him
When the sun shines high
I wish I would wake with his welcoming smile
When I would go through difficult times
I wish he was by my side saying "baby m right here and it all will be fine"
When I needed a shoulder to cry
I wish I could just run to him and hug him like he was the key to my life
But most importantly....
I wish I was there for him when he needed no one like he needed me to be.
I wish I could be the one to make him smile
And lean on him for his cheerful smile
I wish I could be the one to make his eyes shine
I wish I could be the one to make his lips curl into a smile.
I just wish I could be the one!
