"What the shit!" I yelled through the phone. "We're under attack here too. Just let Jace fight them and stay back. I'll be there as soon as I can." I hung up the phone.

     "What happened?" Alec asked.

"We're being ambushed," I said. "Jace and Clary are fighting demons upstairs right now."

"We have to finish here and we have to help the others," Alec said, "You'll get Clary and Simon to safety while we fight the demons."

"Got it," I said. I jumped off the stairs and shot an arrow at a demon. Alec did the same. Alec killed the demon with his shot. The people clapped thinking it was a show. I ran to where Clary and Jace were and Alec behind me.

I saw Clary at the end of the hall. "Clary!" I yelled.

     "Mason!" She yelled back.

     "Are you okay?" I asked

     "Yeah," she said.

I heard Jace grunt from inside a room. I placed an arrow on the bow string. "Stay behind me," I whispered. Alec opened the door. A demon smacked Jace sending him to a wall.

     "Jace!" Yelled Clary.

"Both of you get Simon," Alec said. "Jace and I will fight this demon."

"Let's go Clary," I said running up the stairs and to the roof. I stopped at the door. "Take this seraph blade," I said.

We got on the roof to see Izzy whipping her whip around and Simon stood behind her like a scared puppy would hide behind it's owner. I grabbed a seraph blade. "Michael!" I yelled. The demons turned to me and Clary.

     "Dumah!" Clary yelled.

We looked at each other. "Get ready," I said. I ran forward and sliced upwards at a demon. We fought our way to Izzy and Simon. "Girls, cover me and Simon." I pulled off my quiver and handed it to him. He took my bow from me.

"You guys need to get off this roof," Izzy said. Izzy was filled with beauty and grace. Even with that ichor stuff she looked beautiful.

"No," I finally answered, "I won't leave you here alone."

A scorpion like demon swung its tail between us. "They're trying to separate us," said Izzy. I swung my seraph blade at it's tail. It yelped. Clary ran to it stabbing it and killing it.

Someone kicked the door open. I saw Alec releasing an arrow killing a demon. Jace was behind him with his sword in his left hand. "Clary, Mason and Simon you guys have to get to safety," yelled Jace.

"Who died and made you king," I said.

"No one," he said, "I've always been king."

"No time for fighting," said Alec, "you guys get down stairs."

I mumbled like a child would after their mother told them they couldn't get anything. I ran through the door with Clary and Simon behind me. The door shut behind us. "Do you think they killed all the demons?" I asked.

     "Yes," Simon said.

I was about to begin speaking but the next thing I knew was that my feet lifted off the ground and crashing through a door. "Mason!" I heard Clary yell. Everything was blurry but I could still see. I saw my seraph blade a few feet away from me. I looked through the door way to see flashes of light. I grabbed my seraph blade and got to my feet.

I saw Clary covered with ichor. "Mason," Clary said cupping my cheek, "are you okay?"

     "Yeah, I guess," I said.

     "Guys! Get down!" Yelled Simon.

I threw myself on the floor pulling Clary with me. I saw a dragon-like demon fly above us. "Okay you stupid demons are starting to get on my nerves," I said.

I jumped to my feet and ran towards it. I drove my seraph blade into it's wing. An arrow flew through the demon killing it. I looked back to see Simon standing. "I killed a demon," he said smiling, "I killed my first demon."

"We should get to safety," I said.

"Maybe you should," said a a young man coming out of a room.

"Did your mother ever tell you it's rude to eavesdrop?" I asked.

"I never really listened to what my mother had to say," he said. He kept walking closer and closer. He put his hands in his pocket.

"Well you can leave," I said, "the exit is to the left."

"Or you can die and go to hell," he said throwing a dagger.

I moved out of the way and ran towards him. "Well I'll see you there," I said. He pulled out a seraph blade and they clashed. I kicked him where the sun don't shine. He swung his blade towards me. I stepped back.

Clary ran towards us with her blade. "Leave him alone!" She yelled.

"Clary no!" I yelled. Their blades clashed. The guys brown eyes looked at her green ones.

"Silly girl," he said, "you will die."

"No she won't," said a voice. An arrow went through his back. I looked up to see Alec. Then he collapsed on the floor.

"Alec!" I yelled running to him.  Izzy and Jace ran inside. "What happened to him?"

    "Demon poisoning," said Izzy.

"We need to get him to Magnus," said Jace, "and fast."

(A/N: I know I know. This is horrible. I tried to make it dramatic but it came out crappy but oh well. I haven't updated in so long but I have so many stories at the moment. Anyways. Thanks for reading.)
