Weird Love

Chapter 9

Michael's pov

        We were half way into the Christmas movie and i look over and see cashae watching it happily and i mental note so i can remember how much she enjoys these movies, then i look over to see the rest of the boys kind of bored and decide to make the decision on going home earlier than we were planning, but mostly cause that blade guy is pretty scary and makes me feel kind of insecure. I start to stand up and crack my back "I think its time for us to go" i say awkwardly and the guys kind of nod along with what i'm saying then lea pauses the movie which causes cashae to snap her head back ad look at her with a scowl. "Hold on" she says then grabs kalin's hand then walks to cashae and grabs her hand and drags them to a different room and leaves all us guys alone in an awkward silence. About a minute later we here a slightly loud 'Fine' and they come back and cashae stands there with her arms crossed and her hip poking out "Do you guys wanna spend the night?" She asks and me and my boys look at each other and lukes eyes are kind of wide as he tries to calmly nod and i chuckle "Sure why not?" i say while shrugging taking one last glance at all the boys making sure it was our final decision. I then see her look at blade "That means you're staying too and buying me food in the afternoon when i wake up" she says. I Look at him and his mouth is open looking slightly shocked "What!? why me?! why not one of them!" he says pointing at all of us and we put our hands up shaking our heads. She laughs and looks at him innocently with puppy eyes "Because you love me poo bear" she says in a slight baby voice which had me feeling warm and fuzzy inside but also sad cause it was directed towards him. He then rolls his eyes and lets his shoulders slump "Fine but you're lucky i do love you idiot" he says then smiles while she laughs and hugs him. "Don't worry you can sleep in my bed tonight like we used to as a token of my gratitude." she says while looking up at him smiling. He smiles then rolls his eyes "Why would i wanna share a bed with you? You move too much and take the blankets. By the time we wake up half of your body will be on mine and your foot will be in my mouth!" he says laughing while she slaps his chest laughing along. I look away towards Luke and he gives me a look of sympathy and pouts which cause me to smile sadly then i pull out my phone, sit back down and start to play a game on it. She then clears her throat and looks at all of us, her eyes lingering on me a little longer i think "You guys can sleep on the floor out here or y'all can sleep in the guest room. The bed fits like four people and we got extra blankets and pillows if one or more of y'all are a crazy sleeper and someone don't wanna sleep in the same bed as you." She says laughing slightly. We nod "We gotta go home and get our clothes and toothbrushes first" Calum says and i get up while she nods. "alright well you guys get what you need we will be here chillin and watching more Christmas movies!" She says smiling while lea and ari roll their eyes. "What about blade?" Ashton asks "I already have my things here. This is like my second home so." blade says while shrugging. It made me sad once again on the inside and it just occurred to me that they could be in a really serious relationship which made me just want to stay home. I know i'm dumb for just realizing it but i really thought we had a connection and i thought she felt the sparks too. Luke comes over and grabs my arm and starts dragging me out with the rest of the boys. "Alright we'll be back soon" Luke says and shuts the door after pulling me out with them, then we start walking. "I thought she and i could have been something.." i say while sighing sadly when we get into the elevator. Luke throws his arm around my shoulder and sighs along. "We did too." Luke says and i look around to see all the boys nodding in agreement. " I didn't know she was dating some guy, and as serious as it looks, they must be really serious. Like, he keeps clothes and other things at her fricken apartment! And you guys heard what she said 'like we used to' about the whole sleeping arrangement!! he must've been like gone on some trip for a while and they haven't slept together in a while a-and" i say starting to stutter cause my anger was rising. "Mikey chill, we are about to exit the elevator and we don't need people staring while you start screaming alright?" Ashton says while looking me in the eye. I nod and keep my mouth shut as we exit the elevator and walk through the lobby and out to the front where we parked our car. We get in and ashton starts to drive us to our house and cal puts on some music. On our kind of short drive to the house i start to think of some random words that rhyme and start making up a song. When we pull up, get out and go in the house and go to our  rooms to gather our things. When i'm in there i decide to grab my secret song book and write down some of the lyrics i already have in my head then throw it in my bag cause ill be staying up late tonight anyway, so i can just write down more lyrics anyway when i'm at her house. After i'm finished i grab my bag and wait downstairs with calum for the other boys. "I just don't get how i didn't figure it out earlier. Like it was pretty obvious when weeks ago at the pizza place when she was on the phone with him. Like, am i that clueless cal?" I ask him then look up from the floor to look at him. "I don't think so mikey. Like she never brought him up or mentioned anything about being in such a serious relationship, so how would you have known? But then again you did say that you heard her on the phone with him talking all couple so like, you were just a little clueless." He said shrugging and i groan. "Alright boys, back into the car we go" Ashton says as him and Luke come downstairs. Cal and i nod while getting up and grabbing our bags while heading to the car. I have a feeling this is gonna be a slightly weird night.
