Chapter 8

Luke's pov

      We walked out to the parking lot and i lead her to my car "Wanna sit in the car or just like, lean against it or something" i ask awkwardly rubbing the back of my neck again. She laughs softly "I think ill sit on the hood of car" she says and does so. I smile sit next to her "I wanna apologize" we both say at the same time, we look at each other and laugh. "You first" she says "Well i wanna apologize for the night at the cafe. I should have pulled away from her and explained to you that i had a crazy ex who never wants to see me with anyone but her" I say while looking away rubbing my neck again. "Its alright Luke no worries. I want to apologize for lashing out on her and um..spacing out then running off after. I should have at least listened to you explain who she was and why she did that." she says while blushing "But that ho deserved it." she said right after and we both laughed. "Don't worry about it i don't blame you. Id go insane if i seen another guy kissing you" i blushed as soon as i realized what I've said and she laughs softly and grabs my hand. "Glad we feel the same way Luke" We both stare at each other and smile softly. Finally the hole in my chest is filled again.

Michael pov

      I was sitting with the boys, they were having a conversation that i was barely tuning in and out of cause i was too busy in my thoughts about Cashae. I wonder what shes doing, why didn't she come with lea and their other friend??  I was too busy in my thoughts to notice the boys calling my name until Ashton hit my arm and pointing at the door when my head snapped to him "Luke and lea are coming and they're holding hands" he whispers to me and we all smile. They talk quietly to each other, hug and she goes to her friend and he comes over to us with a large smile and sits down, picking up the menu and looking for what to order like nothing happened. "Um hello!! Are you gonna tell us what went down or not!!" ashton says impatiently. "Well we both apologized, had some laughs, shared a moment and now we're good." he says smiling at us and we roll our eyes laughing "That's a good enough explanation for me" I say "Now hurry up and decide i'm starving guys!!" i say again and lean back putting my hand on my head and holding out my tongue to add dramatic affect and they all laugh and decide what they want and we finally call over a waiter to get what we want.

Meanwhile..

Blades pov

     We were taking the long way home because i wanted to spend even more time with her cause i don't really visit as often as id like. "So, what are you gonna do about that whole boy thing??" as much as it pains me to hear her liking someone other than me, i still wanna be there for her. "I dunno, i haven't known him for too long so i'm just gonna be his friend for a couple months. You know how i don't like relationships and how i barely ever like someone, and when i do its either not that strong or they just want something from me cause guys are gross" she says then we both chuckle at that last true statement. "Not all guys, love. Anyway we have to stop somewhere so i can get lea the horchata i promised her." i say shaking my head and smiling while she laughs."Alright" she says and i turn on some music and we start singing along.

30 minutes later

      We pulled up to her apartment complex and got out of the car "Thanks for a great day blade, i didn't know i needed it till now. I actually feel really relaxed for once." she said smiling at me as we walked inside and going to the elevator. "No problem, i know when you need a day off more than you know yourself obviously" i say and we both laugh slightly getting in the elevator. "Wanna stay for a while?? Lea is bringing me home some I-flop and ill consider sharing with you" she says smiling and we both laugh. "Yeah right!! But yeah ill stay anyway, haven't seen lea in a while and i wanna catch up with her and make sure shes doing alright" i say smiling. She nods and we get out the elevator and go to her apartment door which is already unlocked and when she opened the door we were both surprised to see about 6 people in her apartment. Two being lea and their friend and the others are some guys and i instantly put cashae behind me and get in a fighting stance. Leas head snaps to me and she runs over smiling "Hi bubu! Ooooh my horchata!" she says excitedly and grabs it quickly, taking a drink, going into the kitchen, setting it on the counter and coming back to me, i raise my eyebrow at her and she goes on her tiptoes hugging me "They're friends blade, chillax alright? Plus thank you for the horchata" she whispers in my ear. I chuckle and hug her back nodding softly, relaxing and letting go of her and looking around, cashae walks from behind me rolling her eyes and smiling "Thanks for showing me that you'll always protect me blade" she whispers to me and i smile while giving her a hug. "You know ill always protect you" she nods softly against my chest and lets go of me. "Do you got my food dummies??" She asks with one eyebrow raised and a hand on her hip as she looks around at the boys who hadn't noticed we came in till she just said something cause they've been distracted by the TV. Some guys with blond hair smile when he sees her and opens his mouth to speak "Course not, we wanted to let you starve idiot" he says and i narrow my eyes at him, she pouts and says "Y'all rude. That's why i don't like y'all anyway and i might just kick you out my apartment. Don't be sitting there smiling lea cause ill kick you out too. Don't try me" she says with a serious look on her face, but all lea does is roll her eyes. "whatever, your food is in the microwave cause i know you hate heating things up after they've gon cold so i kept them warm in there" she says and cashae smiles brightly and runs to the kitchen. I chuckle "Lea, aren't you gonna introduce me to your friends here?" i look down at her while asking. "But of course. Everyone, this is blade. Hes like a big brother to me so touch me, you wont lose a finger.. You'd lose an arm." She says seriously then smiles "Bubu, the sort of dark blond hair and the lip ring is Luke, curly brow hair with dimples is ashton, black hair and puppy face is calum and last but not least, light blond hair with tattoos is Michael." she says and i nod. I'm more muscular than all of them so i can tell they're pretty intimidated by my appearance but i go sit on the couch anyway. That ashton guy, Michael guy and Luke guy are on some beanbags on the floor and the calum guy was on the couch next to kalin and lea sat next to me. "Come on cashae, you're taking way too long!" i say and look back at her. She rolls her eyes, walking back to the couch and makes a face at us all "Oh so its 'don't let cashae sit down' day?? i didn't even know i cant sit down in my own apartment" she says rolling her eyes "Either you can sit on my lap or you going to your room to get another bean bag babe" i say smirking at her. She rolls her eyes at me while smiling and walks down the hall to her room grabbing it in one hand and coming back "Y'all are so irritating" she says while  rolling her eyes. "Who?" Michael, i believe, says. "Everyone on the couch" she says and places her bean bag on the ground next to him and sits down ready to eat her sausages. "You said you'd give me some" i say. Lea and kalin gasp in shock and stare at her "No i didn't dork, i said i might CONSIDER it it since we had a great day but now, come near me and you're losing your limbs boy!" she said while scowling which cause the other boys and kalin to laugh cause they didn't know she was serious, "Alright, alright jeez no need to threaten me" i say holding my hands up while she rolls her eyes and eats happily. "If you guys didn't know already, do NOT touch her food. This is a serious matter, she will literally choke you. Trust me, I've seen it happen a couple of times" lea says while glancing at me and giggling. The guys nod while laughing softly "What do we wanna watch guys?" kalin asks. "How about a Christmas movie!?" cashae suggests "But its not even close to Christmas" Calum says which made cashaes head snap to him while narrowing her eyes. "Everyday is Christmas for me boy! Its one of the best holidays so dont try me!" she shouted. After that she started pouting and stuffing her face with more sausage. Seeing her pout made me sad and i grabbed the remote and turned on a random Christmas movie which made her smile brightly.
