Cara Arrington
"Seriously?" asked a very apprehensive Flare. I told her about the interview and on how Veronica kept on asking me questions about my brother, Colton.
"Seriously"
Flare was silent for a moment. Currently, we were sitting outside a cafe. Flare's red hair was in bun. She was wearing a gray loose tee and denim jeans, with a pair of ankle boots. She also wore a fedora and a pair of sunglasses that made her look fashionable yet invisible at the same time. I on the other hand was wearing a bright red tee with a pair of knee-lenght shorts, with a pair of red converse. I was also wearing a gray shawl and vintage sunglasses. Just like Flare's, my hair was tied on a bun, but a bit lower and messier.
"Dang! I would have given anything to see it" As soon as the words left her mouth my eyes widen itself in astonishment. I sent Flare one of my deadliest glare, even if she wasn't able to see me due to my sunglasses.
"I bet your reaction was priceless" She even joked around as she gestured at some unknown sign in the air. But then a thought went around in my resplendent brain.
"You weren't watching 'Hey NY'?" I asked, wearing both a confused and surprised look.
"Nope, busy with the marriage and all" she replied sipping on her mocha latte.
My expression changed from sheer confusion to blank astonishment. Flare noticed right away as she almost choked on her coffee.
"Cara, calm down, they're arranging my marriage, not my death" she said whilst taking a napkin and dabbed it on her mouth gentilly and elegantly.
"But, you're still too young"
"I'm three years older than you, darling" she replied as she rolled her eyes at me.
"If you're gonna say 'darling', at least make it sound youthful"
"I'm 21, Derrick's 22, we're a perfect match" she said while a smile was plastered on her face. Let's not forget she also tried to change the topic on th
"Oh, just because you have a one year gap and you're perfect for each other?" I retorted. Flare was silent for a moment until she cleared her throat.
"Forget about the age, we love each other" she said with a lovesick smile as she chanted, "True Love"
"Fine, you guys are perfect for eachother" I said as I groaned in defeat. It was kinda true though.
Flare was a hot shot actress and model. Her red hair and green eyes were probably her best asset. But Derrick says it's her personality. Derrick SIlver is a very talented actor. He does photoshoots once in a while, but in my opinion, Flare is probably the bread winner among the two.
"But I still can't believe that you'll be Flare Silver in just a few months" I said with a sigh of frustration. Her lovely smiled turned into an elegant frown.
"Look, just be happy for me, okay? she replied with a stern voice that made me shiver. Flare can be so nice and funny at times but she's scary when she's serious.
"I'm happy for you" I said directly, not wanting her to scare me any longer.
Flare and I were talking casually when we saw a flash of light suddenly appear. I turned around as Flare whirled gracefully.
How can she be 'that' graceful?
