Cara Arrington

My eyes were closed and I was in deep slumber. And of course the sun had to ruin it. There was a door to the balcony on my room, and I accidently left it open before I fell asleep. The sun had great sighting for a ray of sunshine flew to my eye, turning me from Sleeping Beauty to No-Longer-Sleeping Beauty.

Yeah, I'm not really creative with names. Deal with it!

I woke up with a grunt as I decided to throw my cream-colored pillow at the ray of sunshine but then thought that I would look stupid if I did that.

It's not that anybody is watching anyway.

I unhappily, and sleepily tried to get myself off the bed. Yeah, here's the thing: tried.

My face fell flat on the floor and I groaned in response. I felt like crying when I realized that my teeth got hurt from the fall.

It feels like I'm having an emotional moment with the floor.

I groaned whilst my face was still on the floor as I managed to stand up. Let me tell you this, my standing position is not in a way in which you call 'straight'.

I had a major headache like I was hungover. I walked dizzily out of my room and into the main room. I looked at the bar and saw a few bottles opened and empty. There were two glasses next to the bottles. The other one was standing and was half-full with vodka. The other one was lying down whilst dripping whiskey on the floor.

I'm guessing mine was the second glass since I get a bit tipsy when drinking whiskey. Hey, that kinda rhymed.

I looked at the wall clock that was telling me it was 6:14. I don't normally wake up on these kind of days. I went over to the mini fridge and grabbed myself a soda before I decided to call room service. I specifically told them that I simply wanted a bagel with orange juice.

I went to the living room only to find a note plastered on the TV. I grabbed it and for sure it was from Colton.

Hey sis,

I have a photoshoot in France and won't be back until next week. I was going to wake you up and tell you about it but you seemed so deep in your sleep that you were drooling.

Take care,

Colton

I dabbed the side of my mouth with my finger and I felt that it was a bit moist. A blush crept in my toes realizing that my own brother saw me drool. It wasn't a normal blush though, it was a blush of anger, how dare he?

I crumpled the note and threw it to who-knows-where. I immediately thought of ways on how to kill my brother for not even waking me up or telling me personally about my drooling. For all I know, he could be sharing it to whoever he is with.

My thought were interrupted when a woman in uniform came in. On her hands were my bagel and orange juice placed on a lace-covered pure silver tray. The plates that contained the bagel was pure porcelain and had a design on it that made it elegant.

I mentally slapped myself for checking out the container of the food and not the food itself.

I motioned her to place the tray on the coffee table on the living room. She did so as I instructed before I gave her a 50-dollar tip. Her eyes widen in surprise before I flashed her on of my signature smile. She genuinely smiled back and thanked me before leaving off.

I picked up the tray and went to the balcony, outside. I placed it on the circular glass table as I sat on an elegant white outside chair. I was quietly eating as I thought of things to do for the day. My day was clear and no plans were made for it. But I certainly don't plan on just going out exposing myself to the flashing paparazzi. Hell to the No!
