Chapter Seven: New Friend

"I think Ash actually likes me!" Serena squealed to her dog, Fen. She looked up at the honey blonde confused, "Right, you don't know him." Serena sweatdropped as she currently was brushing her hair.

After, a couple minutes the young girl decided to go to school. She gave Fen one last treat before heading out. The first person she saw was Miette, she was waiting in her car. "Does Ash like you?" She blurted out the second Serena entered her car.

She shrugged, "I don't know, I mean we did go on a date, and the other day he's the one who actually kissed me." She rambled to Miette. Her blue headed friend had a sly smirk printed on her face.

She nodded along as she remembers. "I think he does like you." She said after focusing back at the road.

"How's Clemont?" Serena asked wanting to change the subject.

Miette took a deep sigh,"Impossible, he's to dense to realize it." She laughed.

Serena smiled at how she has always seen Miette talking to Bonnie instead of Clemont. "I'm surprised you like him. "

Miette spoke without breaking eye contact at the road. "It just happened, I didn't think I would end up liking Clemont either."

After, separating paths with Miette, the senior went to her locker. Just as she finished grabbing her stuff a raven haired boy was next to her. He gave her his goofy smile, makes her forget that he's actually eighteen and not an eight year old.

"Hey! Sere," He said.

Serena gave him a greeting as he decides to take her to class. "Ash? Aren't you going to be late?" She questioned him.

He shrugged, "Doesn't matter, it is the last month of school anyway, twenty days until we graduate." He winked at her.

She rolled her eyes at his excuse. "How's Pikachu? " she asked remembering his yellow cat.

Ash was surprised from her question, "You still remember him?" Serena nodded to show that she haven't forgotten his adorable cat. "He's doing fine, still lazy as ever."

Serena laughed as she remember the first time she met Pikachu. It ended in her carrying the kitten on her lap while Ash was on the floor with powder on his floor. This was because the two had a project sophomore year.

"Well, my class is here." Serena stated grabbing a piece of her hair. She had that peeve to play with it but, since it was now shorter, it made it difficult.

Ash looked back, making sure no professor was around. "Okay." He said, giving her a small kiss on her cheek. "I'll see you later."

Serena grabbed his arm, pulling him closer to him. "I'm the one that's supposed to do the kisses." She placed a hand on her hip as he scratches the back of his neck.

She grab his shirt, giving him a quick kiss on his lips. After pulling away he spoke."I was hoping for a longer kiss later." He pouted.

"Bye, Ash." She said, as the bell signaled they had five minutes. He waved bye after running off.

Serena entered the classroom, but was stopped by a girl with brown hair. "Are you dating Ash?" She questioned slightly curious.

"No, we aren't dating." She answered her, the girl looked confused.

"Then, explain those kisses." She crossed her arms. Serena lifted an eyebrow, "I'm just saying it's weird you two aren't dating but there you are kissing like a couple."

The honey blonde soon after began to realize she was right. But, it was because of a dare. "Who are you?" She asked not remembering her name.

"Shauna, I got changed classes, which is stupid since it's the last month. But, are you going to answer my question." She sat herself next to her.

"I was dared to kiss Ash for twenty-seven days." She explained to her.

"Then why does he initiate some kisses? Like today, he gave you a kiss." She began to bring about a million questions. Serena shrugged. As her eyes brighten, she placed both her arms on Serena's shoulder. "He likes you!" She sqeauled.

"Aren't you close friends with Ash?" The honey blonde questioned as the girl shrugged. She explained that she was mostly there because she was best friends with Tierno and Trevor. Clemont is the one who combined the two groups into but even then she never really had any proper conversations with the raven-haired.

Serena tilted her head trying to understand her. How was it that she never really noticed Shauna before hand. She spent most of her time by herself or with Miette. A part of her felt guilty for not putting any efforts in making friend. She took a deep breath:

"Would you like to hang out during the summer?"
