Cassiopeia shook in fear as she walked towards the cave of the dark and powerful sorceress. Calyx is the sorceress of the Pines. She is known to help people in need but in exchange for a terrible price. She lives in the dark Pine woods where vicious animals thrived and dark spirits prevailed. As she neared the cave, she heard a heavy laughter resonating around the whole forest.

"So, you dare come here, Little Peia?", an amused but enchanting voice stopped her in tracks. She looked up and shouted, "WHERE ARE YOU LADY CALYX? I AM IN NEED OF YOUR HELP!"The sorceress laughed and her laughed sounded throughout the whole forest. A strong gush of wind came that made her bend down on her knees. As the strong wind died down, the sorceress showed up in front of her wearing a royal black hood and a white dress. Her blonde hair cascading down her pale skin.

"I see, that you have faith in me but remember, you have to pay a price. Are you sure?", the lady said, an enchanted smirk sprawled elegantly across her face. Cassiopeia looked at her in determined face.

"I-I am ready to pay any price. I just want my cruel father to go away and never come back in our land, please," she pleaded. The sorceress smirked.

"Alright then, Peia. Your father will be taken away," the sorceress said. Cassiopeia looked relief that the sorceress agreed with her request. But then, the lady's smirk grew colder.

"But you have to take it away yourself, Peia. That's your price," the sorceress said, giving her a dark smile as Cassiopeia looked at her in shocked that she have to kill her own father.

"B-but, Lady Calyx, I-I can't. I am not a killer. I just want him to go in another land and leave my mother and I in peace," she protested. The Lady laughed in a sinister way.

"You made a deal with me, Peia. You have to pay it. That''s how it had always been. Here," she said and hand her an elegant dagger.

"This is the dagger that killed many royalties and every people that made a deal with me uses it. Now I give it to you. It's your choice now, Peia. If you didn't take your own father's life away, I will get your life as a replacement," she said and urged her to take the dagger. She took it and stared at it.

"I'll leave you now, Peia and don't fail. It would be a shame to take you away. I see a lot of potential in you. Goodbye," she said as she touched her cheek and vanished like a thin smoke. Cassiopeia stared at the dagger.

"I will not fail you, Lady Calyx," Cassiopeia whispered to herself as she stared at the dagger.
