When your heart flutters,
And your breath quickens.
The beautiful moment
When your able to feel it
Without the pain of rejection attached
The first rays of a sunrise
Warm
Comforting
Promising
This may crash and burn
But I'm gonna take the leap anyways
Just to know I'm alive
