What about today (Daily bumps)

Little bit of mom.

Moms voice came through my phone I kept my head phones in even though I was in the safety of my room I didnt want dad to walk in and tell me again I needed to stop watching the old vlogs I dont like seeing the pain in his eyes when he hears her voice.

5 years ago  Mom told me and finley she was pregnant. We were beyond excited all we wanted was a new sibling 5 months after that Mom had a big gender reveal and cried when she heard the words come out of Mimis mouth "Its a girl" for months they went through millions of baby girl names vlogging through the whole pregnancy nothing uncommon thats when finley suggested "Kelsey katie" A name that didnt really make sense but stuck with mom well her 2 best friends mixed into one person. Mom was excited to see what she would be Would she be as crazy as me and Finley or more quiet would she like princesses and chickens and swimming....sadly mom wouldnt live to see. 

Mom went into labor March 28th at 8PM gave birth March 29th at 3am and died March 30th at 12:04 am with me dad mimi and poppa in the room. we woke up to the the beep I will never forget the long held out beep......then kelseys cry followed by ours when the doctors rushed in and called it....dad fell apart ...he changed kelseys middle name to melissa after mom....I remember calling finley and telling him and he just hung up he didnt talk for days. The doctor told us everything was fine they didnt understand what happend she just got weak and died We buried her May 2nd I remember watching the casket go into the ground dad singing Finley holding kelsey aunt cassie trying to keep me calm Ellie jared cullen katie gaines brooks calvin and jackson all showed up and stayed with us for awhile dad announced that wikthout mom he couldnt vlog no more.

here we are 5 years later Kelsey looks so much like mom it hurts but shes just what mom wanted light shy bubbly animal lover sure shes only 5 but shes perfect Finley started talking again and dads stopped crying but if he catches a glimpse of her in a picture he gets chocked up We never started back up vlogging but I have a good social media following Not that I post much and when I post about Kelsey everyone says how much she looks like mom so I just try and sta-

"Oliver?" 
I looked up to see finely his curls in his eyes My 13 year old brother still with curls he couldn't handle they never did go away like mine.
"Hey Finn sorry had headphones up full blast" He looked down at my phone to see mom at his 3rd birthday party she had him in a bear hug and he was trying to break free.
"I sometimes forget how beautiful she was.....anyway Dads home he brought food" He left my room without another word I stood up and looked at my open laptop Gaines had requested video chat with me 3 times while i was in my own little world.

I know what your thinking and no I am not dating Macey Gaines Shes just my best friend aways has been always will.

I texted her quick that I was busy and walked to the kitchen dad had a large pizza on the table pulling pieces apart handing one to kelsey. he looked up at me and smiled "Hey Ollie"
"Pizza huh" I sat down putting one on my plate as finley took 2 dad gave him a side glance but shrugged it off.
"Well kelseys swim lesson went alittle late and I didnt feel like cooking so I placed an order and picked it up"

"How is swim" FInley asked kelsey 
"Big arms?" I asked second she nodded and showed us her big arms laughing as she did 

Me and finley are so protective of kelsey its not even funny....Maybe because shes the last peice of mom we have left.

We ate dinner talking about school work everything that happens on a daily business when finley looked outside towards our old chicken coop Karmas buried near the tree out there and lunas an older dog and we think shes gonna join karma soon too. "Can we get more chickens" Finley asked dad chuckled and shook his head "That was your moms thing" 
"I miss having chickens I mean kelseys lived her whole live not chasing chickens around shes gotta do it some time"

"I like chickens" kelsey said mouth full of pizza.

"I could do it dad I mean I am no mom but I can do my best"

"Oliver you have school and after school science club and finley you have soccer and football we dont have the time for chickens" 

Finley just looked out the window...he didn't buy dads excuse ...He didn't wanna bring anymore mom into the house then the little bit we have already.
