(Narrator's P.O.V)

After the Laughing Jack accident (Y/n) was dragged down stairs and James and (S/n) were resting on the couch and chair. However (Y/n) was in the dinning room with both her mom and step-dad sitting across from her in some sort of internation. Though they've been asking questions for a half hour the only words they have gotten out of (Y/n) were 'I can't tell you' or 'please don't make me tell you'. (Y/n) had been shaking and looking around carefully for the monochrome nightmare.

(Your P.O.V)

"(Y/N) JUST TELL US WHAT GOING ON SO WE CAN HELP YOU GUYS!" (S-d/n) shouted.

I shook my head,"no I can't get you guys involved, I've already got James involved and I feel bad."

"Is that who that boy is?" Mom questioned.

"IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND?!?!" (S-d/n) shouted in confusion.

"Yes to mom and no, James and I are friends. I met him when he delivered us pizza. We became friends over THIS DANG HOUSE!" I answered shout at the end.

"Go to your room." (S-d/n) said in a serious tone. I got up and went to the living room and went to pick up James to put him my room so when he wakes up I can walk him home.

"What are you doing?" (S-d/n) questioned in anger.

"I'm taking him up to my room so I can walk him home when he wakes up." I answered.

"No, he's staying down here so when he wakes up I can question him and then kick him out of the house."

"YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE HUNTED DOWN AND SLAUGHTERD LIKE ANIMALS! NOT TO MENTION I DON'T KNOW EVERY SINGLE DETAIL ABOUT WHATS TRYING TO KILL US AND EVEN IF I DID I STILL WOULDN'T TELL YOU! IF I DID TELL YOU YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE ME ANYWAY, YOU MIGHT EVEN SEND ME TO A COUNCILER!" I shot back in a fit rage. I picked up James and went up to my room.

Once there I went to (S/n)'s room, picked up the journal and went back to my room. Sitting down on my bed next to James. I flipped open the journal to the last page I was on.

After reading the rest of that page I flipped to the next one. I was shocked on what was on the page.

There on the right page was a clown fairly similar to Laughing Jack. Except this one had color. His sleeves where rainbow stripes, bright red hair, baby blue eyes, and even a swirl rainbow cone noise. Quickly reading the left page to see who this colorful carny was.

It was Laughing Jack? I read more and more on what happen to him, ignoring some of the blood stains from Isaac. His color faded after 13 years of being alone in a box, sense he was made to fit Isaac's personality and Isaac became insane, Laughing Jack did as well? I couldn't help but feel bad slightly for the colorless carny. It's not his fault he is the way he is.

I looked at the picture again of the way he was. Over all he seemed like a very happy and innocent guy but the way he is now it's hard to believe he was once like that. Suddenly James stirred and opened his eyes slightly.

Suddenly he shot up heavy breathing,"Where is he?! Where'd he go?!" He said looking around.

"Calm down James. He's not here, we're fine." Suddenly he hugged me while shaking,"I thought I was going to die." He cried a bit. I wrapped my arms around him and rubbed his back.

After a few minutes he calmed down.

"Come on let's get you home. Your dad is probably worried." He looked up at me with big, puffy, red eyes and nodded. We walked down stairs. (S/n) was still unconscious and my parents we're talking in the dinning room. I opened the door, let James out and walked out while slamming the door behind me, making sure my parents knew I was leaving without me telling them.

We walked, and walked, and walked in almost complete silence. All that was herd was our foot steps delicately hitting the pavement.

"James?" I asked. He hummed in response, not looking up from the ground.

"I'm sorry." I simply.

He looked at me,"for what?"

"For getting you in this mess, if it wasn't for me you would be safe and not afraid of a monochrome clown monster."

James sighed,"I'm glad you did get me into this. If it wasn't for you I would be stuck delivering pizzas at my boring job, I wouldn't be solving a mystery that's been there for centuries. So I'm glad you drag me into this."

Finally we both stopped in front of a one-story house. "Well this is my stop. Call me if anything happens and I'll be there faster that you can triskaidekaphobia." I giggled a bit at his choice of words and with that he left into the house.

I started walking back. Then about half way through it started to rain. Of course it has to be a cliché movie and ran at the weirdest time. Of course I'm not home yet.  I sighed, why does life have to be so hard lately? What did I ever do to deserve all this? I thought back to some of the things I done to deserve such cruel punishment.

Well the was that I drew on (S/n)'s face with sharpie, the time when I threw apples at my cousin or when I bit him, the time I put a thumb tack on my teachers chair. Man I did a lot of stuff. But still I don't think anybody deserves this. Okay, maybe some people. But I only ever done small things. It's not like I killed someone.

Finally I made it into "my" house and walked through the door way.

(Hey guys! Sorry it's late. But I hope you enjoyed anyway. Comment down below what's your favorite urban legend. I don't have a favorite but I've taken a liking to a new one that I found call: Spring-heeled Jack. There are to many Jacks.)
