The rest of the day went uneventful for the young female. As for Laughing Jack, he was busy currently he was looking at his next kill, as he hadn't killed in a while. Though he wasn't looking for a new "best friend" sense his current one was in the hospital.
As he was looking for his next victim he couldn't help but let his mind wonder off to the (h/l) (h/c) haired girl that escaped his clutches and yelled at him. The fear in her eyes made him feel satisfied yet...he felt something. Something he hadn't felt sense his first "best friend" was seven. It was guilt, he felt guilty for scaring (Y/n) and some what harming her to get information.
He hated it. The feeling seemed to gnaw at his stomach and make him feel sick. He hadn't felt this in more than two hundred years, sense he accidentally killed the cat when he was colorful. He didn't understand why though, he had killed thousands if not millions of children and destroyed countless lives and he hadn't felt sorry for any of it.
He shook off the feeling and smile wickedly at the next family he decide to kill.

Finally mom came home. I put the rusty old knife away and carefully made my way down the stairs.
"Hi sweet heart, how was your day?" Mom asked me.
"Hi mom, my day was relaxing and kind of boring." I answered.
Mom chuckled,"you mean you did nothing all day?"
"Nothing but breath, take a little nap, laying in bed and thinking. No, nothing at all."
"Well sense (S-d/n) is working late tonight how about we go get food at whatever restaurant you want."
"Can we to (favorite restaurant)?"
"Psh, of course we can and we can go get ice cream afterwards."
I got up and waved my arms in the air and ran out the door while screaming, "YEEEES!!"
(Narrator's P.O.V)
The gloom seemed to disappear from (Y/n) once (M/n) said they could go to (favorite restaurant) then get ice cream.
The car ride was silent, not a akward silence but a calm, serine silence that only seemed to be there when you were quiet with someone your comfortable with.
Laughing Jack came back from his torturous killing when he entered the house it was too quiet. Deciding to look around he looked up in (Y/n)'s room only to find she wasn't in there.
After searching the house Laughing Jack assumed that she had went out. So he lied down on her bed with his hands behind his head. He thought about his next move, maybe I should pull out my ace tonight or tomorrow. The clown giggled at the thought. He could only imagine the look on your face. The look of fear and shock, with your blood pumping through (Y/n)'s veins at a fast pace, her heart beating quickly. Finally he would dispose of the great hide-and-seek player very soon and leave your family in heart break until he kills them off as well. Then the Grossman home would sit for centuries and return back to it's once dusty and shambled shape. The thought made him smile wider but there was another feeling too.
He hadn't felt this feeling in a while as well. Not sense...Isaac left for boarding school. It was sadness, the thought of him being alone again pained him and the thought of (Y/n) being gone hurt him worse. Again he got upset with himself for not understanding why he was suddenly having these feelings. Like earlier, when he had yelled at the poor girl.
Truth was he went to (Y/n)'s room to find out her hide-and-seek trick then kill her. Though he couldn't even bring himself to slit (Y/n)'s throat, after all it was hard for him to even hurt her like he did. He may have been upset but he wanted to apologize. His emotions were so complicated and new that he didn't understand them.
But he had decided.
He, the all mighty Laughing Jack, was going to scare you then kill (Y/n).
Tonight or tomorrow he didn't care.
He just knew it would be soon.
After all (Y/n) knew to much.
She'd seen him and been alive long enough to tell the tale.
But she didn't.
She hadn't told a single soul that she weren't supposed to.
Not her mom, not her step-dad, not (F/n), her phone friend.
To be honest (Y/n) had surprised him more than once during your time that she lived here.
Laughing Jack shook his head and silently refused to think anymore about (Y/n). Suddenly the front door could be heard opening and some laughter. Laughing Jack teleported down stairs out of sight.
He saw (Y/n) and her mother laughing happily.
(Y/n) wiped a tear from her eye,"Gosh, that girl got so mad at the poor cashier for get her order wrong and then the ice cream went directly at that guys face."
(M/n) tried to breath,"and then when we went to the park and you saw that lady who was wearing to much make up and you shouted "HEY LADY! YOUR AT A PARK FOR CHILDREN DON'T SCAR THEM WITH SUCH MAKE UP! SOME CHILDREN ARE SCARED OF CLOWNS!". Then the lady got mad and tried to chase us but as we were running her heel broke and she fell then we got in the car and drove off."
(Y/n) laughed hard and sat down on the ground. While (M/n) had leaned on the wall, still laughing. Laughing Jack stared at the two in amusement at the thought of that happening but tried not to laugh.
After a few more minutes the laughter had died down.
Laughing Jack had notice the light in your eyes while you were laughing. For some reason he felt butterflies in his stomach.
I want to make her laugh like that...WAIT! WHAT AM I SAYING?! OH MY PIXIE STICK THAT SOUND STUPID! Why am I having these weak thoughts again?
And with that (Y/n) went up to her room, got ready for bed, then went to sleep without a second thought of Laughing Jack.
(Sorry for not having an authors note at the end of the last two chapters. But anyways comment down below who you think would win in a fight. Slenderman or Laughing Jack?)
