chapter 3

jasper's pov

'27 is incorrect and so is #32. Those were pretty easy. They only got 8 out of 16, he could have done better...' I think.

I'm grading the quiz of all my recent classes. So far only 168 people out of 300 people have got 100%'s. I had just finished grading the last paper of the day, when Izzy walked into my class room.

"Izzy,what a surprise! What brings you down to my humble classroom?" I ask in a fake British accent. "Hehe, just deliverin' a message from anna. she wants you to meet her at the viewing area of trainin' arena C07 at 1400 Sharp." She says in a fake Australian accent. "Alright, thank you, Izzy. Anna Must want to watch Marcus and Abby train, yeah? So, what are you up to? Are you actually going to go through with your confession this time?" I ask. She lets out a nervous chuckle, "I'm going to try, but you remember what happened last time I  tried to tell her how I feel," Izzy says. "Yeah I remember" I say.

Not to long later Izzy leaves to go meet Gabby at their usual spot. "Andy, what time is it?" I ask 'andy'. I wait a little bit for a response. " it's 12:36, Jasper." I hear the familiar electronic  voice of  Andy say. "Thank you, Andy. Can you set a reminder for 13:45 , I have to meet up with anna, at training arena C07? ​​​​​​​​​​​​​" I ask Andy. "Reminder has been set." Andy says. "Thank you, that is all." I respond before going to work getting tomorrow's work ready.

Izzy's pov

I had just left Jasper's classroom, now I'm walking to mine and Gabby's usual spot. As I'm walking, I can't help but to start doubting myself, 'Am I really about to do this? What if she doesn't like me back? What if I mess up and say something stupid? No, Izzy you are going to do this, the worst thing that could happen is she doesn't feel the same....OK I would really hate that! I hope even if she doesn't return my feelings, that we can still be friends and that she doesn't start acting strange with me.' I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't realize I had made it to our spot until I heard, "Izzy! What's up?" From behind me. I turned to look at the person to see Gabby waving at me. I wave back. "Well I just wanted to tell you, I...."

anna's pov

I had just finish what I was doing and had started making my way to Jasper's classroom, so we could walk to the training arena together. I had just walked up to the building when I saw Jasper walk out, "Jasper! Hey, I was thinking we could walk to the arena together since I happened to be walking by your work on the way there." I shout his name to get his attention before I told him of walking together. " yeah, that'd be a great idea. So, Anna, how is your day so far?" Jasper asks me as he steps in to step with me as we make our way to the arena.

"Great! Ive done alot of work today and needed to relax, so I decided to go watch Marcus and Abby train after I heard Marcus telling someone he was going to ask her to train and you know how Abby is. So then I decide it would be boring to go alone, and you make excellent company, so I asked you to tag along." I respond, "how bout you?"

"Alright, I guess. I mostly sat at my desk waiting for the students to finish there test. Then I stayed an extra hour or so to grade papers and whatnot. And another thing is I had just been thinking I needed a break when you invited me to hang out." Jasper says.

"Huh? Strange coincidence." I say. From that point on me and Jasper walked in peaceful silence all the way to the arena. He gently entwines his hand with mine, bringing a blush to my cheeks. This is the first sign of affection I've gotten from him, making me think about telling him my feelings for him.
