"Wait," Aiden said.  "I'm sorry.  Actually, really sorry.  And I did that that night so that no one would know that I was actually deeply in love with you.  I am sorry, and I hope you can find it in you to forgive me, some day,"  He said, and with that, tried to leave.

I was watching him, in shock.  "What did you just say? I swear to god if you are trying to pull something I'm-" Aiden cut me off. "I'm not playing anything, I am sorry. But, I do want to know one thing from you.  Were you being 100% honest when you said what I did the day-"

He stopped, and I didn't realize that I was crying until he brought it up. "Alexis, are you crying?"  I said, quickly "No, erm, there are bugs in my eyes and I am just drowning them,"  I said, and I thought he would laugh, or even smile.  "Seriously, Alexis.  WERE YOU LYING TO ME?" 

I was taken aback, and he sighed.  I said "No, I really wasn't.  I wasn't really focused on the dare and your stupid remark.  I was thinking about how heartless you were, and how stupid and immature, and so many other things, that I don't have time to say."

He was frowning deeply. "I am actually sorry, Alexis.  Honestly, I am.  I'm sorry, for the remark after the dare, for getting drunk, for what I said to you after we found out, for changing, for leaving you, for being a jerk.  I'm sorry for it all," and this time, when he left, I didn't stop him.

I was crying so hard, the mascara was running down my face.  He left me, feeling worse than I did the first time.  I was so upset.  He actually felt sorry. THE Aiden, felt sorry. For hurting me, Nerdy loser Alexis Taylor.  He was actually sorry.  If someone told me that last night, I'd have punched them, thinking they were trying to be funny.

I eventually left the closet, right when it was time to go home.  The teachers know me on a first and last name basis, most know my middle name, and almost all know my parents.  JEEZ! 

So, I can't skip class.  They'll notice.  Doesn't that suck?

A/N,

I think this story STINKS.  A lot of people are reading it but not following, so I am going to delete this story and write a new love story.  Hopefully this one will be much better! :) Thank you all for all of your support!
