Moonlight

|Chapter 18|

I waited. I waited for the month to fly past and for the day that Justin would actually be marrying someone that wasn't even me. Yet, I was going to be there supporting him in anyway I could. I was going to be sitting at the back as I don't want any attention on me today. It was all for Justin and Xenia. Today was the day that I told myself to let go of whatever me and Justin had in the past. The love and passion we shared with each other cause that was never going to happen again.

I looked at my outfit in the mirror. I looked perfect. I was wearing a long sleeved silver dress that stopped at my knees. Then, I wore some silver shoes that matched my dress. My hair was all down and my MAKE UP was simple. I had the basic foundation and concealer but also wore HIGHLIGHTER and red lipstick.

I twiddled around to hear a knock at the door. I looked over to see the groom walking towards me.

"Can I talk to you?" I nodded as we both sat down next to EACHOTHER. I leaned my back on the chair and crossed my legs, waiting for him to speak up.

"I just, this is the last time I'm ever gonna see you and, I won't be married. Truth be told, I love you so fucking much moonlight, you mean everything to me and I just, CAN I kiss you one more time. Just one more time?" He asked. I looked at him is disbelief but didn't waist anytime. My lips connected to his lips as we slowly moved in sync.

I gradually pushed awa from the kiss and looked at him. My hands landing on his chest as I had to tell him. I had to tell him everything.

"Justin, I have something to tell you. And I, i just can't let this thing split you and Xenia up, if you know what I mean" I started off. I hummed in response as he started to shake a little.

"I...I'm-" just as I was about to speak, the words 'Justin we have to get to church now' came from my door. We both looked up to see scooter stood there.

I looked back at Justin and hugged him tightly.

"You'll do great, I know you will, good luck".

"I love you" he whispered in my ears before he stood up and left. Just as scooter was about to leave, as Justin wasn't near, I decided to talk to him.

"I was about to tell him scooter" I said.

"Oh...you can tell him after the wedding...are you ready?" He asked me. I stood up from my seat and fixed my dress.

"Truth be told, l am no where near ready...I need to tell you something and you promise not to say anything ok" I looked at scooter straight in the eyes and made sure he understood every word coming out of my mouth "I'm-"

He looked sad. Angry. Anxious. He had the face of SO many emotions, I needed to write a book. I couldn't stop looking at him. The way he would fiddle with his fingers from how nervous he was. 4 years ago, he probably wouldn't of done that. He'd have a smile because he was going to marry me. But, all in all, it didn't happen. But as it's happening now, but not me, he isn't smiling.

I've not once seen him smile today. Not once.

"It's gonna be alright" hailey said into my ear. I looked up at her and held her hand. She gave me a slit squeeze. I looked over at Kendall who was on the other side of me and smiled.
