It's been a week since the incident at the club Cody and Josie broke up They had a huge fight two days ago He broke up with her but she took it better than I thought After he broke up with her Josie got a new boyfriend His name is Richard, he works at the hotel "Hey how are you doing" Destine asked me "Ok I guess" I replied "Me and Conrad are going to the fair, you can come if you want" she said "I don't want to be a third wheel" I said "No it's fine, you should come" she said "Fine let me go change" I said I walked to my room to change

I got changed and we all got into the car and drove off When we got there Destine ran over to the cotton candy right away Conrad laughed and went after her I just slowly walked over to them with my arms crossed I saw Cody over at the cotton candy cart with some girl I just stopped walking and waited for destine and Conrad to come back "What's wrong" destine asked walking over to me I nudged my head toward Cody "Oh, you'll be fine" she said "Lets go" I said We went on a bunch of rides and played a lot of games and I was having a lot of fun......until we heard a scream "SOMEONE CALL 911" somebody yelled "What's happening" Destine asked "Idk lets go check" Conrad said "OMG" I screamed and started crying Cody was on the ground and blood was everywhere The ambulance came and picked up Cody and put him in the ambulance "Is there any family here" they asked "I'm his girlfriend" I said They brought me to the ambulance and I jumped in the back The only way I could ride with him was if I said that I was his girlfriend It was the most believable thing that I could come up with
2 days later after his surgery
Right now Cody was sleeping I haven't left his side since he got shot After his surgery he hasn't woken up so he has no idea that I'm here Cody's eyes gracefully fluttered open and he saw me "What are you doing here" he asked "I wanted to be here when you woke up to see if your ok" I said "Well I'm fine you can go now" he said "You.......you........you.....almost died" I said and started balling He got up and started comforting me "Look I'm fine" he said rubbing my back "But...you could of died....I...don't....know....what i would...do...without....you....in my life" I cried He lifted up my chin making me look at him He wiped away my tears "Look at me I'm fine now stop crying" he said He lifted me up and put me on his bed He sat beside me and I snuggled into him
