MY COMING OUT STORY

Lets just call her Selena

Wow four reads I'm legitimately impressed by that so thanks

Alright so let's just dive in. It was the beginning of November, and I was still only out to Ryan. So it was after homecoming, and the last football game of the season.

I don't like sports and I don't understand football, but my whole friend group went to the football games because they were fun and we could hang out together without too much planning.

So there was this girl, let's call her Selena, who went to my school. She was out gay at school, but I didn't really know that much about her, we had been introduced, and she seemed nice, but crazy.

So she was hanging out with me and my friends and she eventually decided she was going to ask the girl who she platonically went to homecoming with to be her girlfriend.

So she leaves, and when she comes back, she tells us that she said no. We're all like "oh I'm so sorry that sucks" blah blah blah

Being supportive because we're nice people

And then

And then

This girl. Who I've said like ten words to total in my life comes up to me and asks me " do you want to walk with me?"

And I was stunned

I looked at Ryan, he smiled at me and laughed, and then Sel dragged me away by my hand.

I'm a super shy person, but luckily she didn't expect me to talk. We walked laps around the nearby middle school, and she just ranted to me about how terrified it was of that girl to say no to her.

And I didn't say anything

And then she started asking questions about me

I was still terrified but I tried my best to not stutter too much while I told her about my brothers, my mom, my cats.

Eventually the football game ended, and I told my mom to pick me up at the front of the middle school

Me and sel walked to the front and she grabbed my hand and squeezed it when she saw that the girl who had rejected her and her friend were also sitting at the front of the middle school

I assume for the same reason we had left the football game

And we sat on a bench apart from the other group

And this is when I realized, oh shit

I was catching feelings for this girl

I got picked up, and when I got home I texted her and came out to her

The second person I came out to was almost a total stranger

But she was chill

We eventually ended up dating, but that's a story for another day :)
