Chapter 1

(Y/N) POV:

It was late at night as I'm walking around the city of Vale to get fresh air as my entrance exam to Sanctum Academy is innthe morning. I got a letter of recommendation as I'm the top student in my grade and the principal has talked to me about how this is a rare opportunity. I like the idea of going to Atlas but then again, they're more strict and atlas is cold plus I don't about the move, where can we find a place to live and if they decide to take me only, what about mom, she'll be lonely here in Vale.

(Y/N): Ahhh!!! Man, this is too much thinking! I really need something to get my mind off that stupid transcript.

That's when I heard gun shots just to see a girl wearing all red and wielding a sythe twice her size, the a guy with a white coat, ginger hair, a hat, and holding a cane.

Guy: Well Red, I think we can all it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around... I'm afraid this is were we part ways.

He aim his can as the bottom of it opened up as he shot a explosive dust round at her. I quickly pulled out Dread aimed and shot the explosive round as it exploded midway. The man turns his head looking at me as he rubbed his chin.

(Y/N): Hey, you alright?

(Red): yeah.

Man: My, oh my, seems we got ourselves a boy trying to play hero.

(Y/N): Shut it, thief!

He aimed his cane at me and shot what I thought what an explosive round but I was wrong as he shout a steam dust. I got blinded as the steam was covering everything till it was blown away by the girl. I got impressed that she blew away all the steam.

Red: Where is he?

I looked around the block trying to spot him until I heard metal and I looked as I saw the thief climbing a ladder from one of the buildings.

(Y/N): There he is!!

I ran towards the building he was climbing on, ran towards and jumped  off the wall to get the railing and get the next one. I see red using her sythe to the top, finally made it to the top. I heard him mumble something. The a bullhead rose up behind him, he got on it and looked at us.

Man: End of the line Red, and Red.

(Y/N): Could you at least come up with a different color.

He threw a red crystal at us and aimed his cane and shoot. I cursed in thoughts as I was going to be blown off the building. I used m arms to block my vision waiting for the explosion to blow me off but it didn't, I move my arms as I saw a lady with blonde hair, wearing a purple cape, as had a whip, i saw a glimpse had blocked the explosion. She attacked the bullhead with some purple light. The woman then created a ice storm over the bullhead, then another woman wearing a red dress shoot fire at the other woman, but blocked it and the floor exploded. The lady with the whip used pieces of the roof to create a spear like thing and shot it at the bullhead but the woman in red shot it three times but three more spear things and they all just shattered. I saw red shooting at I did the same, but she blocked all our shoots with one hand I was awe. The floor started to glow red-orange. I moved out of the way and the roof exploded and bullhead was gone.

(Y/N): *Who were those people*

I looked at the girl as she was fangirling over the woman that saved us. I went to the ladder to climb down but my body was frozen as I saw her whip pointed at me.

(Red): You're a huntress! Can I have your autograph!

Small time skip~

Both the girl and I are now in a police station, inside a instigation room. I was sweating bullets as this was going to effect my chances to get into Sanctum. The woman walks in with a scroll in her arm as she looked at us we anger.
