“At last! We already finished Secondary, but I want to study more specially in arts.”
“Veru, we can still study. If your parents allowed you to enter college in schools outside your quarters you can still learn more about arts and even go in your profession.”
“But they wouldn’t allow me because of a certain reason: they are afraid for my safety.”

Miguel and Veru proceeded to the Mansion where the Royal Couple where arguing with one thing:
“The Shadows must know that it is forbidden to kill a vampire. It’s a major offense to the Law.”
“They already know the Laws! Maybe they want a big punishment for them to learn their lessons.”
“So what’s your plan, Monsieur Rocio?”
“Give this letter to Lucida and Vani, I want them tomorrow night here at the Mansion, we need to talk about this important matter.”
Lucida and Vani are the leader of the Shadow clan. They were known to be the most dangerous vampire couple in the vampire generation. Vani’s wife is said to have a hypnotizing eyes and voice.
“Monsieur and Madame, may I please talk to you. I am very sorry for disturbing your conversations. This is just an important matter.”
“Yes, come here Miguel. What is it?”
“Monsieur, may I just know if you want Veru to fulfill her dreams and live normally as normal persons do?”
“Of course, Miguel. I want my daughter to feel normal and feel the happiness she deserves.”
“So would you allow her to join me in college for her to feel like normal and to reach her dreams?”
“Go college? Why in this world would you want going in college? It’s a burden to carry, in fact, you’re already finished in Secondary. Your knowledge are enough for the two of you to run or lead a clan.”
“But Monsieur, we still have dreams to fulfill. I promise to take care of her while we’re studying. I promise that.”
“Father, please let me go with Miguel. At first I didn’t want to go outside our quarters but as time went by, I want to live by my own, I want to see the beauty of our place, our country. I know it’s very risky but I promise you that I will always take care of myself.”
“I will be going to USA Monsieur. I want Veru to see the beauty and how life would be outside the barrels of your quarters.”
“Well, this is a tough decision Veru. I’ll first think about it. Then when my decision came, it’s final and will be irrevocable, alright?”

Miguel was very happy because Veru has a chance to go with him in USA. Veru’s happiness was overflowing. They were full of joy because they travel to a new place, a new world.
It was already night…it was dark and stars shines so bright. Veru was looking up in the night sky when her father sit beside her.
“Time really flies so fast, my dear! Then before you were just a sweet little baby carried by your mother in her arms. But now you’re a fully grown princess wanting to discover more. I can’t believe that you already built your wings, and now you’re very ready to fly.”
