*Elizabeths POV*
"What do you want to talk about?" I asked.
"I want to talk about what you and Sarah were talking about this morning."
I moved so Taylor could come in. I went and sat on the couch and Taylor sat on the other side.
"So, what?"
"Do you like me or nah?"
"I do not know. I told you that."
"I just want to tell you something. I'm sorry for everything I've done to you and Sarah in the past 10 years. I feel like shit. I shouldn't have bullied you. I told Troy and them that I won't be bullying you guys. I would choose you over them any day."
I leaned over and gave Taylor a hug.
"It's fine Taylor. I accept your apology."
"Thank you! You don't know how much that means to me!"
I was still hugging hugging Taylor, and I noticed I had gotten a lot closer to him. My arms were around his neck and his hands were around my waist. It felt perfect. I let go of the hug after about 2 minutes.
"So, what are we gonna do about our project?" I asked.
"Umm, I don't know. But we can start planning."
Taylor and I started talking about the project. We had an awesome idea, but we couldn't do it till the weekend.
"So, what now?" Taylor asked.
"Well, sense we're friends now, I guess you can stay here and hang out for a while."
He smiled at me.
"Thanks."
Taylor and I just sat and talked for a while. Nothing but talking and laughing. Then the doorbell rang.
"I got it!" I yelled to mom.
I got up and got to the door. Sarah was there.
"Uh, hey Sarah. What's up?"
"Nothin. Just decided to come hang out here."
"Oooh... Well, Taylor's here."
"Why?!"
"Because we got partnered up for a project, and he apologized, so we're kind of friends now."
"Kind of? Tell that to that hug a while ago." Taylor said while looking at us.
"You hugged him?!?"
"Yeah, why not?"
"He's a jerk!"
"Why are you mad that I'm friends with him?"
"Look, Elizabeth, if she's mad at you because I'm friends with you, then I'll just go." Taylor said walking out the door.
"No Taylor. Stay." I said grabbing his arm pulling him back.
Wow his arm was muscular.
"If you're not okay with Taylor and I being friends, then you're not a true friend."
She walked away with her mouth hanging open.
"Elizabeth. You didn't have to do that." Taylor said.
"But it's true. If she's not okay with us being friends, then she's not a true friend. It's happened to me before." I said.
Taylor pulled me in for another hug. This hug was nice and long. He was so warm, and he smelled good. I partially let go of the hug and stared into his eyes.
"You know what?" I asked.
"What?"
"Now that I think about it, I guess I do like you a little." I said.
"And you know what?" Taylor asked. "I like you a little too."
I hugged Taylor tighter.
"Elizabeth Ann Adams, would you do me the honors of going on date with me?" Taylor asked.
"I would love to."
