Finnick

AN-So I wrote this chapter because I love Finnick. He was one of the coolest animals in the movie. But anyway here's the chapter.
Enjoy.

   The hustling career went pretty smoothly till Nick started highschool. Karson didn't want to hustle anymore because he started playing football. Karson also didn't want to be seen around Nick because of what he did. Of maybe it was because he was a fox.
   So Nick was alone. He didn't have any other friends. Who was going to help him get the money. He had to help his momma somehow. So he did the gigs on his own. But that wasn't easy. Because no one trusted a fox. Eve a young one. Nick was 16 now and started driving. So once in a while he would get luck and find a sucker to hustle.
    Things got really bad for the fox. Then he found someone. She was a vixen his age. Arctic fox. The two had conversation and she accepted even. Even though he was a hustler. She had a step-brother who Nick became really close friends with.
   The vixens name was Carol.
   Her step brothers name was Finnick.
   Of course her step-brother was smaller than her but they still acted like brother and sister. And the fox got close to the two. He even dated Carol for a while. But that didn't last long. Of course they ended on good terms, but she didn't want to date someone who wasn't going anywhere with his life. That was fine with Nick. He didn't want to make anyone's life harder.
   So Nick and Finnick hang out for a couple years. And Nick told Finnick about what he and Karson used to do with the jumbo pops. Finnick was amused by this. He thought it was genius. So, he told Nick he had an idea of how to do it. The two went to a baby shop and bought and elephant costume. Finnick put it on and the two went to the elephant shop.
   "I really hope this works, Finn," Nick said.
   "Trust me. As long as you stay cool it'll go well," the small fox said.
   They made it to the shop and the elephant asked what the Fox wanted.
   "I would like to buy a jumbo-pop for my son!" Nick said.
   "Excuse me. Isn't he a little big for that?"
   "Yes, I agree but you see the little guy loves everything elephant. He even wants to be one when he grows up."
   At that moment Finnick put the hood up and tooted the horn.
   "Hmmm. Look FOX. Yout luck I got a soft heart. That'll be $15."
   Nick gave him the money and they left. After the popsicles were melted Nick was heading to his house to put them in the freezer but Finnick stopped him.
   "I got a better idea.."
   The two got in the van Finnick drove and to tundra town. Finnick made paw prints in the snow and put popsicle sticks in the holes. Nick quickly understood and started filling in the holes. The two had the popsicles done and sold them to the hamsters. After all the popsicles were gone Finnick said,"Watch this.." and took the sticks out of the trash then put a string around them.
   After that the two went to Rodentia and gave the mice a 'lumber delivery'. They accepted it and gave the two $200 dollars. They had made $400 dollars in all which they split.
   Nick happy that he had made more money. And he went home to give most of it to his mom. She didn't want to accept it. She said it was 'dirty money' and they didn't deserve it. But even she knew that they needed it to get by. She took the money but told her son they couldn't do this. He didn't listen. The next day Nick and his new best friend hustled again.

   Finnick had always wondered why Nick was always the way he was. He never let anything get to him. There were so many mammals in town talk shit about them both because they were foxes. And as Finnick wanted to beat the hell out of those mammals Nick kept his cool.
   Finnick asked him about this but the bigger fox refused to tell him the story of the Ranger Scouts. The two might have been best friends but they weren't that close.

AN-So yeah. I wanted to in further with Nick and Carols relationship but decided against it. I have another idea for that.
